About This Game

Take command of your own named space station as its traffic controller. Your mission is straightforward but challenging: guide ships safely to dock while maintaining your station's resource balance.

-- quick preamble from the developer hv --

Hi all, thank you for checking out Delos: Space Traffic Control. I've been working on this game for a few months in my spare time - probably accruing a few hundred hours worth of development. That being said, the game is --buggy-- at this current juncture. It will crash. There are missing features. If revenue allows for it, I would absolutely love to keep working on this, adding new features, and gradually bumping up the price by a dollar or two as it becomes a more substantial game. As it is now, I hope the price point is acceptable with the current state of the game!

For full transparency, here are some things currently missing:

- Sound effects (really)

- Visual effects for ship collisions

- Any sort of progression (i.e. station upgrades)

But, my favorite feature is in game - it is a singleplayer game, but you can chat with other players in the comms menu!

Here is what I'd like to add to the game should revenue allow for continued development:

- Lane drawing: Draw and assign lanes for ships to travel on

- Ship patience timer: Get the ship in and out of your sector within the allotted time or else it incurs an incident

- Reputation system: Gain reputation with pilots/corporations to facilitate more gameplay options between them

- Narrative: Learn about the world through talking with the pilots that dock at your station

- Station upgrades: Bigger berths, bigger ships, station infrastructure, etc.

- And a lot more

Anyways, I hope you enjoy your time with the game should you purchase it. Beyond the money exchanged (my deepest thanks), it also means the world to me that you would take time out of your day to try out the game. Please hop in the Discord and share your thoughts!

I hope you have a great rest of your day and thanks for reading.

KEY FEATURES:

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

- Direct two types of ships to appropriate docking berths

- Prevent collisions by managing traffic flow

- Approve or deny docking requests based on your station's needs

RESOURCE BALANCING

- Manage ships that sell resources to your station

- Coordinate with ships that purchase resources from your station

- Maintain a careful balance to avoid resource depletion

STATION OPERATIONS

- Name your space station to establish your identity

- Chat with other players about strategies and experiences

- Track how long you can keep your station operational

SURVIVAL CHALLENGE

- Your station consumes resources continuously

- Strategic decisions determine how long you can survive

- Score is based on operational longevity and efficiency

The game focuses on the core challenge of resource management through traffic control. Each ship that docks either provides essential supplies or depletes your reserves. Your task is to maintain this delicate balance for as long as possible while ensuring safe docking procedures.

How long can you keep your station running before resources run out? Take control and find out.

Neat idea, but there really isn't any game here yet. It should really be marked as early access. It's incredibly simple. Choose a ship from the left or right gate and send it to the left or right landing pad. Then wait and do it again. I like to see small Indy games succeed but there really isn't anything here yet.

An neat little game about traffic control for a space station and jump gates. Juggle com windows, docking requests, suppliers & consumers, to keep the station afloat. Nice visuals and great spacey soundtrack sets the vibe. Very interested to see where it goes from here.

i think id call this a vibe simulator or a proof of concept more than anything else right now but it absolutely nails it. im excited to see what gets added to it this is 100% worth the 3$ they are selling it for mechanics wise its pretty simple right now but the developer has been upfront with whats there and what they want to add to the game and i think theres a ton of room for some really interesting world building/style/aesthetic things to be added. this may never be a super in depth economic simulator but this has rapidly become one of my favourite 10-15 min wind down games after a long day/before bed. i had a chance to chat with the developer in the in game chat and they are pretty cool as well.

Fun little game with a lot of potential! The ambiant sound and music are awesome and the dev is taking feedback into account which is really great. Can't wait to see what the future holds !

I've enjoyed it. The space stations and gates look really nice and the updates have been frequent. Love the music, more if it would be good. The main issue at 30 minutes in is the repetitiveness. I know this is a traffic control game but there must be some things to break it up a bit? There's some great ideas for planned features. Here's some more I have: - Higher resolution planet, it looks out of place with such a detailed station. - Ability to change locations (new planets, backgrounds). - New station with more docking bays - Some ships could just fly in locally from the planet or space (different directions) and request to land. It may be that they are denied or the need to issue a hold request. - The planet, or other places in nearby space could be destinations, that way there is more to manage. - Managing their speed could be a thing, with different speed zones. Fines issued for speeding.. - Different types of resources to be purchased and delivered. - ATC sounds radio sounds. ...

Oddly addictive and charming. It's the kind of thing you can tell will go big if it has enough time to grow. Checkout the website for a leaderboard.

Well positioned cameras and zoom fov effects to get nice views. Some radio chatter would be a good addition. Multiplayer chat is a neat feature in a singleplayer game, dev hv responded and I reported bug directly to the source hah. As others have mentioned, pleasant vibes, definitely a good start. Keep it up!
