About This Game

"STARS COMMANDER" is a game set in space and focused on trade
of material resources between spaceships and space stations.
Here are the main features of this game:
All the resources that can be managed are always valued at the same price
of reference, equal to the purchase and sale and specific for each resource.
In the game economy, profit is made on the transportation of resources
from one station to another and is a compensation linked to the quantity delivered,
so it doesn't matter looking for the best buyer or the best seller
but it is sufficient that there is a request, or availability,
of resources compatible with your spaceship.
Stations and spaceships can be purchased as additional possessions
of the player's possessions.
Spaceships are not controlled with manual commands but are controlled, even remotely,
giving destination orders to the autopilot.
When the spaceship is docked at a station you can enter it
playing in first person.
In each station there is an access to the station computer to manage
resource exchange operations.
Additionally, some stations will give you the ability to dock "trailers."
Trailers are similar to spaceships but have no engine or crew
and can only be used for the transport of goods;
for their management a particular spaceship is used which carries out
the "tractor" function.

The aim of the game is to be able to increase your economic gain,
trying to buy stations and spaceships, and keeping active
station trade.
The difficulty of the game is due to poor resource production
in the stations because they were poorly supplied, or because they lacked crew,
this affects your financial situation due to costs
that you will have to bear.
As an option, to lower the difficulty of the game, in each station
you have the possibility to find some cash prizes(in the fiction of the game)
hidden in some cupboards.

Once you have accumulated a certain amount of money you will be able to purchase
spaceships and trailers with different characteristics,
choosing those most suitable for the transport you intend to carry out
and reach hundreds of destinations in the game's universe.

A chill space game, I'm enjoying it! I love the sounds when you're cruising on auto-pilot from one place to another (the low rumbling), I find that sort of noise so soothing. I also love watching the stars as my ship flies by, and getting in cockpit mode (especially since some info has been built into the cockpit to make it interesting to look at and to feel more immersive). The gameplay loop is pretty simple, you go to a place, you sell them a resource (assuming you have what they want), and you can buy what they have (if you have a suitable ship/trailer) etc, then down the line I can see that you can buy stations, and fire crew if necessary. Simple, but engaging enough when you're having a chill day and don't want to be bothered by combat or whatnot. I tried to play on Steam Deck and initially it wouldn't launch, then using Proton I could get it to launch but couldn't start a new game, even trying a few versions. It is easy to run on a windows device however, my laptop isn't really...
