Got the demo for this game over a decade ago because I thought it would be funny to laugh at a game where you follow traffic laws It ended up being really fun, so when i got a better PC I bought the full game A few years later American Truck Simulator came out, and I IMMEDIATELY got it so I could drive in my country fast forward SEVERAL years and with almost 600 hours between both games, I decided to get my CDL this game that I downloaded for the lols literally was what kickstarted me to becoming an actual trucker (this is a little better than real life though because I can turn off getting speeding tickets and if I get in a head on collision at 150kmph I just reload my last autosave)

I used to think that only action-packed games like GTA could bring me joy, but this game proved that I don't know myself as well as I thought.

best driving game. can't wait for the coaches dlc. it'll become the best and biggest bus driving simulator aswell

I put 11 hours on this game within the first day of purchasing this game, my friends and family worry for me but they don't know what my purpose is, I myself have only a faulty grasp upon it, yet the truck gods above will guide me just as my GPS does during a storm and they will keep me going just as my tires do.

I used to love playing this game (>500 hours at present) but it's becoming increasingly apparent that SCS have completely lost touch with their player base and while it's unclear who they are now trying to please - the one group they consistently displease is their longtime players:- Game performance even on modern high-end PCs is abysmal (i.e. single digit FPS even in unmodded games), I feel certain whoever designed the most UI changes had never played a game before in their life and may possibly have been legally blind, to say nothing of the very recent total removal of some game features in the name of "protecting players", quite frankly if players need protecting from an optional setting available on certain multiplayer servers they shouldn't be allowed to control anything sharper than a crayon. I play games to have fun and this concept seems to offend SCS to their very core. It pains me to say I can't and won't recommend this game until they fix their ridiculous restrictions, omis...

A really true near real life truck simulator, even better paired with a steering wheel.

Most powerfull relaxing game in the world. If you have stress in your life just play this game with music. You'll be better instantly. Thank you developers for this master piece.

It's more difficult than American Truck Driver because of the amount of Metal fencing along the roads. Miss a turnoff and you have to drive to the next town and that could be as much as one and a half hours away. You cant just do a U-turn across the highway like you can in American Trucker because of the fencing. I have become very adept at reversing if I miss a turnoff. Also you can't make huge profits in this game and wherever you go there are toll booth everywhere.

i like the variety of trucks and the amount of mods that the community has made for everyone to enjoy. the game is really addictive and has hours of replayablity
