It has to be said 'PYTHIAN' is both kind of genius and kind of crap at the same time. In short, this hard dance experience tries to put you into some of the biggest dance music gigs you have ever seen, with top dance-music artists like N-Vitral & Crypsis. It does this by placing you in an empty room that shows a 2D flat video on one wall and the room is then filled with the lights and lasers that fit almost perfectly from the video. It is clear a lot of effort was been made to perfectly match the 3D light effects to those, you see on the 2D video. My main problems is that no other effort has been made. No effort to make the virtual stage look like the real one, no real effort to put you into a virtual club. The effects there are could have just as easily been done on a Gear VR! But that is not the biggest kick in the nuts! While you do get 4 dance-music experiences for £13.99 (I paid £9.09 because it was in a sale) you then have to pay a further £9.00 odd to get just one more whic...

a water, please
I do not recommend this in the current state. I have joined the first master of hardcore event with some friends but were not able to see each other. Currently there are only NPC's walking around like idiots, jumping and looking to walls...... Although it indicates that you are in a lobby with 30/50 people you only see NPC's which makes it really boring and not like what one does expect of this.
Super surprised to find a VR product for a very niche genre of music. So a niche for VR and a niche for hardcore. Bought it for the Masters of Hardcore event, after having heard about it on Evil Activities' podcast, thinking it was a steal for the price and let me tell you, they have a formula worth pursuing here. I had technical issues, the Valve Index controllers are barely mapped so only teleport and mute works, lobbies appeared empty and certain areas of the events was an absolute performance hog. But beside of that, the spot on lasers, the great green screen effects with some very enthusiatic artists, the quality of the localities and the "theme" of them shone through and made a very unique and interesting experience. Not something like being there in person but something else, something new and something I hope might be explored, even after everything opens up again. We have the foundation here, for something great. I briefly tried the throwback events and while it is s...
Was a lot of fun back in March but it has unfortunately been completely abandoned.
I wish I could write something positive and I really would like to support this app, but to do so I must be honest. I joined the event short before it started. I saw some people on the plaza walking around and throwing fireballs. When it started and I entered the boat (first stage) I was all alone. It was looking like there were many people, but they were all just bots. (They had no names, were not reacting to anything...) I restarted the program many times, read about these problems in the Stream discusssion forum, where others reported the same problem - nothing helped. I really wasn't in the mood to try enjoying the event all alone and just wanted to fix that problem. At 20:55 I finally gave up. Much later I saw in the forums that there was a problem with the hoster that caused these problems and that it would work now and they would restart the event every two hours to repeat it. So at 1:30am I joined again: There were a few people (around 6 or 7) and we waited untill it started....
the events are freaking amazing! throwbacks not so much.
not worth it in current version hopefully better later
There were some bugs during the MOH live event. You couldn't change ship in the beginning, no matter what number you pressed in and entered, you were still on the same ship. My friend couldn't see any people at all no matter how many restarts and ship changes. I hated the stand-in robots, please remove them and leave only real players. There's no point to them, you only searched for real players among them anyway. All in all not a great launch but I look forward to the further development of the game.
Currently there are some control issues with some headsets, but apart from that it looks good and im very interested to see what other things they're planning to do.
