Really enjoyable game from what I've played so far. The randomness prevented the gameplay from feeling repetitive which I appreciated. The gameplay reminded me of Geometry Wars but with more of a focus on getting powerups and exploring rather than just racking up a high score. I found myself playing with the active menu selection animations too much, because they are awesome. I'm excited to continue playing so I can earn more powerups and see how the game progresses with updates.

The graphics are simple yet convey the form of the creatures well. Combat is fun and there is a big variety of enemies to fight. However, there are improvements that could be made. For example, the lack of a titlescreen makes the game seem less polished. It is kind of jarring to be thrown straight into the game. Despite this, Deepsea Salvor is a decent little roguelike and I see a lot of potential.
