Run For Cover is an entertainining round based strategy shooter (is that a genre title? It is now!). After about 90 minutes of play I got around 500 meters into the first (and currently only) scenario, which is, as I understand, about 2/3 of the level. The enemies get progressively tougher and the terrain turns more and more against you the farther you get. I can't wait for further updates!

It's like playing one of the first Minecraft versions: soooo much fun despite an early development stage and you totally wanna see more features! I loved playing 'UFO: Aftermath' when I was young and this game manages to recreate the good old game play feeling :) Please support if you are into this type of game! I wanna see more of it!!! :)
Run for Cover is fun to play and shows a lot of potential. I followed the game on Itch.io and the frequent updates make me come back to it. Gameplay. You shoot at enemies, find weapons and drive tanks to make your way to the end of the mission. The game is quite linear, but the randomized maps offer an incentive to play again. There are several situations with sudden surprises that make you think and improvise. New enemy types and ambushes keep you busy all the time. Graphics and Sound. The graphics and sound are nothing special but good enough and suit the game well.
As I am writing this review, the game is still under development and in early access. The development is active and there are continuous patches with improvements and new content, this is promising! The game itself is making a really polished impression, everything in the game is coherent: the overall art style, effects, models, animations, cutscenes etc. Just so many details that show the love and passion that the creator is putting into it! Still most important: The game is fun! It's not only the challenging tactical combat but there are a few really nice surprises on the way that made me smile :D See and enjoy for yourself! I will check back on the game for sure. I can definitely recommend this little inconspicuous gem, so move out and... RUN FOR COVER!
Scenario 1 is blocked after the boat is blown up. No way to go through those tire piles and advance.
simple game, but fun. It was cheap, it is good to play when you do not want to invest yourself. And again, it is fun
