I'm a few hours in, but seeing that the game has no actual reviews at the moment I feel inclined to offer my thoughts. I've beaten the tutorial and the first handful of missions of the 1st campaign, so take this with a grain of salt as there's still much to explore. This game has been an entertaining game thus far, that's clearly been inspired by titles such as Advanced Wars, Wargroove, or Tiny Metal, but attempts to put their own spin on things. As an avid tactics fan (check out some of my other reviews) I feel that my money was well spent so far with this title. It does have a hex grid as opposed to the square maps of advanced wars which adds some fluidity and makes it much easier to push units through lines and holes to target the right enemy to do the most damage. There is a combo attack bonus against units, so if you strike them repeatedly with smaller units they will start taking more damage for the same attacks... or if you feel yourself clever, do a couple attacks to boost ...
