There weren't any reviews or YouTube content so I figured I'd take a chance, despite swearing I'd never buy another Early Access title again. I'm actually really surprised. It's a wave shooter but pretty fun and easy to get into. I could see it being a hit for showing off VR to friends, although I've had my Vive since pre-order and I found it fun, as well. Time went by fairly quickly while playing which means I was having fun. Graphics are average - nothing groundbreaking but not terrible, either. Sounds are stock and mediocre, although I guess I don't really expect the developer to rent out a bunch of WW2 guns and buy thousands of dollars in sound equipment, either. Gameplay is good - it started to feel somewhat repetitive for about a minute at the end of the first mission but it wasn't a deal breaker. I haven't ran across any bugs yet and you can tell that the developer put a lot of time into the game. Overall, I'm impressed and think it's worth a go. I'm very pleased to finally ha...

About This Game
Grab the enemy's weapon, the MP 40.
3rd person Arcade Mode. The New Tank Commander Mode is now live and puts you in the shoes of a tank driver -- first-person cockpit.
Tank Commander Mode changes the game entirely Immersing yourself in the boots of tank operators and seeing through their eyes is both humbling and intense.
Formidable foes with rehauled AI are capable of flanking and taking cover across the countryside and through war-torn cityscapes. Witness the wake of devastation left by the M-4’s arsenal with satisfyingly destructible environments. Encounter colossal bosses including Tiger Tanks, attack planes and even coastal destroyer ships and triumph over each mounting threat the German forces deploy.
Saddle up in a World War II-era experimental M-4 Sherman tank and take the fight to the Axis. The brand-new first-person Tank Commander mode allows players to experience tank combat from the inside of the M-4 cockpit. Fend off both enemy armor and infantry while peeking out of the hatch to monitor threats coming from all sides. Clash with the Third Reich with devastating cannon shells and .50 caliber machinegun fire.
For a more personal touch, exit the tank entirely for ground battles. Get hands-on with historical armaments including Tommy guns, BARs, American Bazookas, and ever-reliable grenades. Line up precise pot-shots with the sniper rifle for long-distance engagements. Whittle the opposition down one-by-one as they desperately try to hold back the Allies’ advance to each new flagged checkpoint.
Sow freedom throughout the countryside in The Longest Road mode. Assume the gunner position and take aim at enemies coming from all directions as the tank automatically moves from checkpoint to checkpoint. Available at launch, a new periscope option allows players to step back into the tank to shell out destruction while the tank escorts players between objectives.

Okay so I am a MASSIVE WW2 shill and even I can't get into the game in its current state. This just feels unpolished and strange, I couldn't get used to the controls and generally couldn't get immersed. The concept sounds good and its a new game so I cut it some slack, I hope with more development that this becomes one of the best games on the steam VR market.
Just tried out the sniper rifle on 2nd level. Very cool mechanic. I would like a mission like the movie "Enemy At The Gates" where you would need to take out an elite German sniper using only your sniper rifle. Wide variety of historical weapons to try out. I found myself doing a lot of the dirty work with my Thompson? machine gun. If you are one of those people with a strong dislike of Nazis this game should be a good fit. Recommend.
I normally dont like arcade shooters, but this game is awesome! Except the sniper rifle. Why the hell does the sniper scope work like in Fallout 4, when you have a working scope system on the 3D model itself? I tried to hold the rifle away enough to be able to snipe with the rifles 3D model scope and I just couldnt shoot anything because the scope was way too far from my face. Please, PLEASE make it at least a setting to allow people to disable the horrible Fallout 4 scope!
N.B. This is a first impressions review on the current state of the early access build. Will try and update this review as things progress, as the devs say that there are still a bunch more tweaks and improvements coming. Gameplay, Immersion & VR Experience: First thoughts were that it took me right back to the old days playing Time Crisis on the PS1, though a bit more forgiving (which is a good thing!), and with a heap of extra fun new layers of gameplay with different weapons, different vehicles and an interesting mix of different mission styles I found myself having a lot of fun, enjoying the challenge of tracking down the enemy in a 3d play space (they come at you from all angles), ducking, reloading and refining my aim to get a better shot ratio and head shot tally. A great mix of skill required to shoot accurately, but forgiving enough that you can have a fun arcade shooter. A fun game that you can lose yourself in and blow the work week away on a Friday night without the stre...
One of the most underrated games I've played. It really has something for everyone. The wave shooter is fast and fun and the tank commander really envelopes you into the tank. With the focus of VR being on Half-Life Alyx, this game is the perfect for something new and enjoyable. Definitely worth the money!
During training of throwing Grenade , there is bug that struck there and not moving on :(
Reasonably fun, but short and not really good value for money. Really just a wave shooter. Price should be around £5 I should think.
On rails shooter / wave shooter Go in tank, bunkers, machine guns. Not the most robust game but is ok if looking for a WW2 shooter Consider on sale
Very nice arcadey onrails / waveshooter with a WW2 theme. Sound is pretty good, weapons sound good music is great and allaround decent enough. Graphics are not that impressive, but they work fine, i LOVED that you can take down the trees with weapon fire. Performance with a 1080, easy 90, almost always 120fps was ok. You can choose between 2 different mission paths, so like 2 campaigns, one is always onboard of a tank where you can switch between the main weapon with a machine gun view from inside the tank, or go man the external turret. The other path you also are on board of a tank in sections of it, but its more like you are running from cover to cover eliminating threats. It takes ~2-2.5hrs to finish both campaignsm, havent the tank one, already finished the regular one. You get to fire machine guns, heavy machine guns, rocket launchers, snipers (i didnt like the mechanics of this) And while at parts the controls dont feel all that intuitive, you get the hang of them pretty ...
