Monster Jaunt is a 4-player minigame party with more variety and less randomness. Compete in a diverse assortment of minigames between rounds of a simple-but-deep strategic board game.

Diverse Minigames

From high-speed penguin races to competitive inventory management to cerebral memory challenges, twenty-three challenging and varied minigames await. Whether you want a fresh take on a classic minigame or a brand new concept you've never played before, there's a minigame for you!

Lightweight Strategy Board Game

Monsters have arrived from another dimension to...have a great vacation? Between minigames, draft monsters and plan vacation routes in a Euro-inspired board game. No more rolling dice and hoping for a win!

Throwback Aesthetic

'90s kids, rejoice! Monster Jaunt takes visual inspiration from 3D greats of the mid- to late-'90s -- Bright colors, geometrics textures, few polygons, hidden cheats, and cheery MIDI tunes.

Flexible Options

Play with 1-4 players and fill in with bots. Disable minigames you don't like or increase the odds of your favorites appearing. Don't button mash if you don't want to. Remap controls however you need. Only two buttons + directions are required.

Pros: -Easy to learn, hard to master -Fun and varied minigames that don't kill your palm (looking at you, every fishing minigame ever) and have smooth controls and several unique elements -Novel and interesting concept (think Pokemon travel agent) and very diverse cast of characters! -Quirky and fun voice acting and music Favorite minigame: Snoozy Smoothies Cons: -While the graphics are not as "polished" as some of its contemporaries, they have a nostalgic charm hearkening back to the N64 and the animations are very fluid -Not a massive amount of minigames, but more than enough to not have any repeats even in long game modes Least favorite minigame: Below the belt

This is a fantastic game! Pros: Great minigame variety. I love these games! Cons: Board game takes a little bit to get totally used to, but is very very fun after that!

Minigames are great, board game is okay, but unfortunately it feels repetitive after the second playthrough. Coming from a binge of Mario Party and Pummel Party, I feel this just doesn't hold up as a whole. Still recommend it for the price (you can cast your game so essentially only one person in a group of four has to buy it - an absolute steal when you take this into consideration).

I love this game! The world needs more party games and local multiplayer games. Monster Jaunt is a great modern entrant to this genre. It has innovative gameplay ideas and mechanics, Mario Party-calibur minigames, fantastic music and a fun and charming art style. I recommend playing with controller(s) as some of the minigames are more difficult with keyboard controls.

Finally, an indie party game that is well designed! Monster Jaunt is put together incredibly well, from the N64-era aesthetics to the minigames that are equal parts accessible and challenging. My favorite thing about the game is that it truly rewards skillful play - no random "stars" being awarded at the last second to the player with the most doo-dads. The more you play the games, the better you'll be at the game. The fact that this bit of clever design and tight gameplay came from a single developer is astonishing. Check this game out!

Had a blast playing this even just against the computer players. Lots of variety in the minigames which are almost universally good quality. Going to try this out with remote play with some human players soon! Pros Game rewards skillful play in the minigames and choices on the board. Charming N64 era graphics and animations The monster puns are fantastic. Wish I had a pet Cinnamunk! Cons Some games are quite challenging on their first play, might be hard for a new player's first attempt. The different main game boards don't add much.

I am a monster by blood, and this game does me and my kin total justice! JK - but holy crap these mini-games are awesome!!! WHAT I LOVED + The MINI-GAMES. Some of these put Mario Party to shame. My favorite is one that has you find things on a map! (I'm a geography nerd) + MUSIC and CHARACTER design. This game is simply adorable, and creative names will have you chuckling. + REPLAYABILITY. This game is suited for all ages. I'm 29 and I want to master these mini-games so bad! DOWNSIDES - The board game part seems a bit tacked on. However, I've always just been about the mini-games, and those make it all worth it.

Fun minigame collection, board game is a better replacement than the mario party kind, no randomness, different types of minigames, definitely worth it
