This is the first time I've posted a review but this is a new (and imo brilliant) game and I wanted to support it. Originally posted on AdventureGamers.com: Wow! Just finished it in one sitting (more on that later). What a thrilling, psychedelic ride. That one(?) person could do this is truly impressive. Good puzzles, great storyline and amazing atmosphere. Very innovative. There were a couple of bold choices made which I'm not sure about. They ended up working for me but may turn some people off. Firstly, there is no way to save (this is clearly intentional), so you're either playing it all in one go or leaving it running on your PC till you're done (or restarting it each time). I couldn't give up on it so now I'm quite wired from playing the game, it's 2am, and I have to be up in a few hours. :D The second bold choice was potentially quite a frustrating part where
you die and have to go back and rep...

Making this small FMV from a single dev with no experience in coding in a year is a feat itself. Now that this is completed I'd really like to see what their next project will be like now with some experience under their belt. The short game wasn't perfect though. I would have lessened the document at the beginning to a just few pages, added something on screen durring those too long black screen transitions and found an easier puzzle to do near the end as the symbols confused players. This is the devs first project though and they will learn and grow from this first experience. Worth a single sit down playthrough. I enjoyed the video shots they took and the spooky atmosphere. It was also fun to break from the point and click mode to a point and shoot mode. Fun! :)
This game has spinning and flashing parts so be careful. I had to cover half of the screen for the spinning ones. I recommend this game. It is a small game yes but a well done game. The paper in the begining is very well written. If you don't like reading then this game may be boring to you.
Really interesting text reading, but a very boring, without excitement, story telling game, This should be a prologue of an actual adv game.
It was okay by me for a quick puzzle game. A little frustrating not to be able to save if you are having a tough time with certain areas of the game, but otherwise the graphics are very nice and the soundtrack does set a spooky mood.
nice fmv-experience, short but totally ok for this low price
Generally, I had fun playing this game. Creepy af. A bit frustrating at certain points for sure so not a perfect game, but the visuals and mood are very cool and the story is interesting. Definitely worth the price.
Gameplay is so slow, sometimes boring. Reality effects works nice, but still Dark Falls is better. Sorry guys.
"21:9 not supported" More like "I can't be bothered to implement full-screen properly or a windowed mode"
You spend half the game staring at a black screen with nothing to interact with until the actual game decides to resume. It makes no attempt to build up atmosphere or tension and just hits you with goofy 3D clip art and a shooting section that ruins any immersion. And the "puzzle" section towards the end was bafflingly cryptic and a total waste of time. I spent forever tapping each key on my keyboard to figure out what each symbol represents and it turns out you're supposed to go on what they're shaped like? Like, what a five year old would do? The one bit of "mythology" they came up with was kinda interesting but I could find that stuff on r/creepypasta for way less effort. If you really love FMV games I guess you could do worse, otherwise it's not worth the one hour I spent on it.
