82 Minutes into the game so far, and I have to say that while I'm enjoying the game, the AI is incredibly slow. Once you get out in front, there's no chance of the AI catching up. They definitely need to be more aggressive. It took me all of one race to get used to the way that the truck handled, with the back end swinging out to drift around corners. I'll admit that I hit a few walls in the process, but it was fairly easy to recover. I think there's a heck of a lot of potential in this game. I just hope the devs are willing to put the time into it! Edit: Also, on one race, one of the AI trucks flipped over and didn't recover. it stayed in the middle of the track for the remainder of the race with it's engine revving. Maybe some AI recovery would be an idea to implement so they can get back into the race?

Game is in Early Access/beta state, but it is not marked so, so let's pretend it is in final state. Trucks are nice with almost actual graphics but without damage model, tracks are boring with 10 years old graphics, competitors are completely useless (they are not racing at all!), you can upgrade your truck multiple times with the same upgrade package and so on, and so on. Wait for later patches if there will be any. The game in current state is not worth even this low price tag. I am sorry.
I get the feeling those who developed this game intended to add more content post release, but it never came to be. What's here is nicely playable, but not something you'll go back to over an older AAA title. 3 hours saw me complete the campaign in first place on all races, first attempt for each one. The AI is a pain until you get a ways past them, then they basically give up trying and switch to demolition derby amongst themselves. Sounds are adequate but the same for all trucks, and they all handle basically the same too apart from the starter one that is sluggish as heck in turns at speed. There are no damage physics although the game has sounds for them. The tracks have no major jumps, but tight corners mean you spend an awful lot of time tilted on two wheels to keep things interesting. There are some repeated tracks in the campaign, but spaced far enough out to not be too noticeable. ZiL Truck RallyCross works pretty good, apart from being able to upgrade trucks over and over f...
Nice low budget racing fun with not too bad physics and nice graphics. I had a good time with it, but it hasn't been updated since launch. No updates since launch (it could do with some bug fixing to tidy a few things up) - that to me suggests that it's not going anywhere. Shame because I genuinely thought it had a lot of potential to grow ..
Rallycross with Soviet trucks, a premise that sells itself, deserves a far better game than this unfinished effort with its gutless racing, floaty driving, and anemic sound. There is not a shred of brutality to be found here.
I was enjoying it until I encounted a problem I was in Career mode and I had done my first lap and then it wouldnt change gear it was in automatic transmission this problem happened to the AI as well and the issue would come and go so as you can imagine its as annoying as hell. I recommend any other off road game than this its the worst I have ever played I dont expect there to be any bug fixes or updates to the game in the future as the game came out in April 2017 so it is almost 2 years old.
Yes.
buggy as crap the ai does not seem to function at all
ZiL Truck RallyCross had potential as a unique truck rallycross game but ultimately falls short, making it a missed opportunity. While the concept of rallycross with ZiL trucks is intriguing, the game suffers from significant technical issues and a lack of developer support, with no updates or communication since its release in 2017. Despite the promised variety of trucks and customization options, the game feels unfinished and neglected, failing to deliver the engaging experience that fans of truck rallycross were hoping for.
Reminds me of racing games I played growing up - back when the physics and graphics were not great. There is a nostalgia and playability factor here but that's about it. It's nice to revisit for short sessions. It's worth the 5 bucks but not more.
