While he keeps on working, extraordinary things start to happen around him, which will eventually lead him to become the hero of an another story.

Through its story based levels you find yourself in the place of the character Axel Rix who is a young soccer player. This game really is amazing. Admittedly I'm only a few levels in, but this is easily the most fun I've had in any of the 140+ VR games in my Steam library. Decent graphics, and the physics seem spot on. I did notice that Axel's apartment room has no door. Perhaps that is why he seems so glum? Not a single bug in sight so far. The only negative is how sweaty my Vive gets when playing HGVR:BAR!! Thoroughly recommended.

First it is hard to get how to make the enough points to pass each level, but after getting used to it Header Goal VR takes you into game and makes you feel like a football player. Graphically, Header Goal is so far one of the bests and I am sure you will enjoy the experince of being axel rix as much as I did. If you have htc vive, you need to purchase this one for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing full version of this game.

Physics are totally wrong and the game is pretty difficult. Months ago I have told in the forums and the developer did also recognize. Then they pushed an update but barely anything has changed. If you can't manage to pass a level, which often takes a lot of trial and error then you will not see all the others. It is/was visible in the leaderboards how many players just give up and can't proceed. The physics are so wrong, you can just stand there, not even move the head and the ball would bounce off your head like it was bouncing off a trampoline. Even tennis balls fly several meters (10-20?) away. Try that in real life. For some reason the ball always likes to bounce off to the right side even if you don't do anything, always.

Extremely fun game. It doesn't seem like that amazing of a concept, but it can keep you in for hours!

This game is very difficult. My calves started to burn. I started to sweat. The VR environment was really well done. And there's actually a story here. I don't even like soccer. But trying to do trick headers in VR is just plain fun. Definitely a must buy on sale 50% off. And even worth it full price.
but why can't I drink a beer and where is my groupie when I'm back in my flat oy!
Rate 8/10 overall (10/10 for this type genre with how well executed everything is in the game)
I hope I don't get TBI from moving my head in all kinds of jerky motions
Very comparable to headmaster for the PSVR but this game IMHO is MUCH harder. It's nice that there is a bit of a story line. It's also nice that you can play with just the headset.

The game uses the classic stand and shoot vr gameplay base, but since this is a header game it works great and more importantly convenient. You don't have to mind walking into the wall as you play this game, just make sure that there is nothing near your head in the room, so you don't headbutt the lights etc. The game starts as a classical header game that we are used to see in VR market, but the physics are well made -realistic but well balanced to be fun centric. The story feels somewhat cliche, as you would expect from a vr header game, up until the 2nd episode. Then everything changes. S..t hits the fan as EP2 begins, suddenly we have an alien testing us to abduct(?!), zombies, explosions, sheep(?!), much destruction, a giant, many different ball types, utility targets, and special abilities to use. The levels are often both action and puzzle packed. They require you to figure out some (not so complex) mechanics to finish the levels with max success, or you can just ignore that,...

ultimately well done, the levels are unique and the ball responds how it would in real life. however it sucks that you can't unlock levels just by getting a very basic score. some of them are incredibly difficult (level 4 and 5) and you can't play the zombie mode without (i assume) beating all the levels first. i would give it a neutral thumb if i could. worth it if you buy it for 5$ or under.
