A basic release of some enjoyable games. A small download (5MB) with a functional layout and it is easy to select the games. No native controller support, no options to play the games full screen or to change resolution, no option to play two player games. This package has been available to buy online for a couple of years. You can save and load states (one per game), and speed up the emulation speed should you want to. The 'rewind' feature does not seem to work properly. Are the games fun? On the whole, yes: many of them are classics. Most games only require the arrow keys and Z or X, but some require the use of the number pad (keys 1-0 here) which can be awkward to use efficiently in arcade style games. Is this worth £15/$20? If you like retro games, perhaps. The package is merely functional and has no extras apart from simple game instructions and cover art. The games run just fine but were designed to be played with a ColecoVision controller. It is a shame the dev...

I bought this when on sale and requested a refund after 5 min. It plays in a little window and there's no way to get full screen. If you love colecovison games like I do you are better off getting an emulator until some publisher makes a better version.
Refunded: Every game stutters and runs incredibly slow, it's a complete waste as I already have other options like emulation and I have their system that hooks up to a TV that runs better than this. If you want unplayable classic games at 9 to 18 fps stutter fest, then this game is for you. Also if you like turning sound off and dying in every game because of the stuttering, this is for you.
Love it, but I wish it had lady bug!
A nice collection of games from the ColecoVision, many of which I still own the cartridges of as it was my first console I ever got. Absolutely love Pepper II, as far as I'm concerned that's a maze game that totally kills Pac-Man in concept, scale, and fun factor. That being said, half of the real ColecoVision experience is playing these games with those original bastard joysticks from hell and not having them readily available in USB form takes away from it you're looking for authenticity in every facet of this. There is this adapter which includes support for original joysticks sporting those old DE9 connectors but they're currently out of stock. If you want one badly enough, you might have to try Ebay. http://www.intellivision.us/intvgames/interface/interface.php
Really, really awful. Games stutter and are unplayable (my rig can handle virtually anything you throw at it) Requesting my money back, something I have only done once before. Get an emulator that works, there are a few good ones that are far better than this pile of rubbish.
It has a few classic games from my childhood. Only wish they would release more games on a DLC.
Absolutely love it! So many great games! So many great memories! Hope they release the rest of the games! Highly recommend this! I know I haven't played this much but as a Colecovision owner I played all these games many times over.
Very difficult to select a game from the menu. When using a mouse, it is hard to scroll to the top or bottom of the list. When using keyboard arrow keys, a cursor attempts to show you which game is selected before you press enter. Pressing an arrow key twice will move the cursor two spaces (good); pressing the arrow key once will briefly move the cursor but it moves back to the previous game (bad). When playing with an XBox controller, pressing down on the left thumb-pad and pressing the upper-left trigger button normally exits the game. This causes frequent unintentional exists.
This needs controller compatibility, easy game window sizing, and dude, wheres player 2 at? Still cool to play all those games, will recommend when those BASIC things (the base of respect for providing gamers a honest retro game experience) be addressed.
