About This Game
Ragdolls are simple on the outside but detailed on the inside. You can siphon their blood and replace it with nitroglycerine. You can submerge their head and cause brain damage by asphyxiation. Think of something horrible, and you can probably do it in People Playground. Afterwards, you could even hook them up to an ECG and blood supply to try to get them back on their feet.
Every object in the game has its own physical properties: weight, sharpness, thermal and electrical conductivity, ferromagnetism, heat capacity, bullet resistance, and so on. The game simulates temperature, heat transfer through objects and through the air, electricity, and rigid body dynamics. All these systems combined make for emergent gameplay. You may experience behaviour that was never explicitly implemented.
Mutilation aside, you are encouraged to build interesting contraptions or download them from the Steam Workshop. Construct airplanes, walkers, impenetrable bases, automatic doors, shields, computers, unholy weaponry - it's up to you!
Once you get bored of the limited amount of items, you may download one of many Workshop mods and addons to expand the toy box, or you could make your own.

i get to torture people for fun, i get paid to do it too! i used that money to buy this game so i could torture fake people too!
Got a hold of the syringe mod , created a mass amalgamation of body parts on fire constantly dying and regenerating , mildly traumatizing myself in the process and havent played since . 10/10 would traumatize again
People Playground is one of those games that’s way more fun than it should be. On the surface, it’s just a 2D sandbox where you can throw ragdolls around, blow them up, or crush them with all sorts of bizarre machinery. But the more you mess with it, the more you realize it’s a physics toybox disguised as a dark comedy. The physics feel oddly satisfying — whether you’re zapping a dummy with electricity, building a complicated contraption, or just seeing how far you can fling someone with an explosion. The sheer amount of tools, weapons, and random objects means you’re constantly finding new (and usually ridiculous) ways to cause chaos. It’s not a “story” game at all. You make your own fun, and that fun can range from setting up elaborate experiments to just laughing at how absurdly the ragdolls flop around. The modding community is huge too, so there’s always new content to mess with. It is violent, sure, but it’s all cartoon violence on stick-figure-ish charac...
thanks to this game i could commit various war crimes without the punishiment of jail. Thanks!
very fun time building various torture devices in this game or experimenting on humans. if only it wasn't a crime against humanity irl :pensive:
i used a particle accelerator to gorily murder 50+ people in the equivalent of a doomsday with particle lasers flashing everywhere.
