Im sorry I have to chalk this is a fail. It took all of 5 minutes to decide this. I cant comment on the story or anything else but here are the issues I encountered: 1) Would not grab mouse - my prefered control method for most games, but instead was clicking all over my desktop instead. 2) Controling the ship via mouse is terrible. I might addapt but because of issue 1) it wasnt going to happen. 3) Switched to controller; failed to work with my steam controller, except for XYBA buttons. 4) No configuration menu, so no hope to remap keys, change sound volume. [EDIT: Or determine what actions are bound to what keys / controlls.] Might be more to this game, but ran out of patience and hope. Refunding. EDIT: I should note the really confusing thing was that the left-stick actually worked in the main menu, in addition to the buttons. The controller just didnt work in-game though.

Very fast paced, very well executed for an indie studio. As a PC only gamer I am always a bit hesitant with games that are best played with an analog stick but this is the closest thing to a PC feeling game meant for a console controller I have ever played.. It's fast, it's unforgiving and it's awesome. 5 stars all around!

I am writing this review because I care: The game has potential! BUT 1. It's controls are horrible. You use mouse to rotate but it isn't directly mapped to rotation angle. It's like turning a driving wheel. If you move mouse right, the ship will turn infinitely right until you turn left to make it stop spining. The obvious fix is to make the mouse directly maped to aiming, and not a driving-wheel style infinite-turning randomly. 2. Impossible to enter Options during gameplay, so I can't config control without re-starting the game If the dev fixes this, I'll change my review.

One of the worst SHMUP i've ever bought. This kind of game totally defeats the purpose of STEAM,which is supposed to sell quality games.5 dollars lost in bad pixels.. I can't even trash it or remove it from my game library....So don't even bother buying it unless you like to clutter your library.

There is something about how this game handles and plays that I just really don't like, which is a shame because I didn't mind Project Root... this feels like a step backwards overall :(

This game is pretty cool, but their are a lot of bugs. My main gripe is with the audio. Even if you go through the settings and drop the Master audio, FX audio, and Music Audio all the way down to 10, 5, and 5, the talking in the game will keep playing at 100%. There needs to be more testing and Q/A. The game is fun. Don't get me wrong, it's genuinely a great idea, and concept, but it needs work still.
