Manifold Garden is a work of pure art. It is a shining example that games are more than just that. They are creations of various different medias put into one form. The artwork, designs, music, audio, the way the world worked. Everything down the minute details of how the game was executed is a piece of art. Manifold Garden is a puzzle game that I feel is less about solving puzzles and more about solving the environment. Seeing the possible ways it can be used to work towards the puzzles. All the while appreciating the architecture of the world you're in. Manifold Garden is a game about repair and restoration. At least that's the perspective I walked away with. What you are repairing and restoring is up to the player. It can be more literal, or more figurative. That's the part I love about these kinds of games. They're direct where necessary and vague where it matters. There are many unanswered questions that are best left that way. Leaving the player with room to dwell on the events...

troll game. no dialog, no narration, no diaries, no plot, no jump, no other controls besides wasd, sprint, and e. all would be fine if the gameplay was there, but it isn't. the puzzles are extremely obtuse, figuring out where the puzzle is and what the puzzle is takes up the majority of time. i found myself backtracking and wondering where to go next a tonne. and they love that dark fog to make sure you really never figure wtf to do next. shame, the core concept is cool.

No words how beautiful the game is. Video, music, the concept, the ending. Pure beauty. Puzzle wise it is also interesting. I enjoyed the game very much and I highly recommend it. It is a puzzle game like Portal, but Portal feels "dirty" after this game. It is pure. Beautiful and pure. That is the right word

Beautiful, majestic, lonely yet peaceful. I personally love a good first-person puzzle with well-defined and unique mechanics such as Portal, Antichamber or Superliminal. In that matter, Manifold Gardɘn doesn't disappoint. It's main mechanics are always put to the test throughout the game and even when more elements are added, the gravity and repeating scenario stand solid as the anchor mechanics in the game. Well executed, puzzles nicely placed. I'm impresses there's no tutorial for this game, yet it doesn't seem to be necessary. The downside is of course, that you gotta figure out where to go and what to do, but the latter is easier. This game will have you solving puzzles in no time, with an enough-challenging yet forgiving difficulty. If there's ever a sequel, spin-off, DLC, or update to this, I'll be looking forward to.

- Mandalas = Fractals. Love that this game's ""special sauce"" is fractals. - An ending for high people - Only one puzzle that fucking sucked
(the big big room with the stairs and the water flow and the tetris blocks)
, the rest were all good to excellent, so that's a great ratio - "Special thanks to Jonathan Blow" YOU DON'T SAY hahaha - Definitely made me feel like a genius a few times, and didn't really make me feel like an idiot mostly at all, so that's a good ratio - I feel like the pacing was pretty good, but I did zoom through quite a lot of the puzzles without much interruption of the flow, and my final playitme does mostly boil down to a small handful of puzzles that were much, much longer for me to solve - Great soundtrack/soundscape - This feels like "if Antichamber was slightly more of an actual game" - Smart use of fractal design to make big spaces actually fairly straightforward and guided sneakily

There's something wonderfully serene about letting yourself fall infinitely in each new area you encounter. Manifold Garden has some cool puzzles that properly make use of its gravity/infinity mechanics, but obviously the thing that stands out the most is the grandeur of the places you're thrown into. Where the towering structures of BLAME! or NaissanceE feel like they're meant to be inhabited but were pushed to a caricatural extreme, Manifold Garden's worlds barely even pretend you're meant to be here. They're pure, abstract, sort of mathematical landscapes that never really needed someone exploring them. But you get to do that, for a while.

Very good 👍a lot of my time was away from keyboard, you can get around 15 hours of non stop game play from this game if you don't search up any of the puzzles and learn it from scratch, if you have past experience with the game you could get it done faster, but the game is very beautiful so id recommend taking your time to enjoy the visuals and really understand the game like i did.

Beautiful little game. Loved the trippy sequences. Though I do think many of the puzzles were too easy.
