This is the peak of surrealist indie games. Its a very short experience (i finished it in 3 hours) but it totally makes up for it with its environments and atmosphere, the whole game is in claymation and most text in this game is nonsensical beautiful garbage.

Cool ass game I liked the soundtrack and the style of the game a lot. The game-play was mediocre but it didn't really matter I ended up enjoying myself anyways.

Hylics is a short, surreal RPG Maker game that stands out entirely because of its handcrafted artistry. The stop-motion clay, digitized textures, and lovingly strange animations create a world unlike anything I have ever seen in a game. It is not about story or characters, since the plot is deliberately nonsensical and there is little reason to get attached to the party, but the world itself is so carefully crafted that it pulls you in anyway. The combat is simple, the systems are unusual, and the whole thing only takes a few hours to finish. As an artistic diversion it is worth the ride. Do not come expecting a compelling narrative; come expecting to explore a bizarre, lovingly realized dreamscape.

An amazing game from start to end, if you like RPGs and getting lost in atmospheres that feel alien, then this game is for you!

This is kinda boring and really weird af, do your research before playing it, its odd, not my game, but if that's what you like, then try it I guess.

Lacks fullscreen and controller support. Its graphically really cool, but the music is grating on the ears. def just watch a streamer play this.

What in God's name? I didn't hate it or anything, but everything seems to be surreal for the sake of it, no meaning or depth. Aside that, just a regular RPG Maker game with leveling disabled. Very short. No strategy needed, just equip best weapons and use group heal when needed. Visually though, its very... unique. Otherwise, nothing makes sense, specially the part where the game randomizes several words at the start of each file. Truly a life changing experience.

Wacky and heartfelt clay RPG. Even if you're not a fan of RPGs you'll probably still have a lot of fun exploring the surreal world that Wayne & co. call home.
