So far so good, the puzzles are ok, and the scenery is nice. The art/color style appeals to me, for the price it seems worth it. I will update my review later when I have finished the game. Edit: Finished now, I took my sweet time doing so. My review remains unchanged, however I should note that the game is quite short, you may get 1.5-2.5h play time if you take it easy like me, but it could proberbly be rushed in just over 1h
Keep in mind, this is the REMAKE of the game, not the game of 2015 but now 2019, so all the reviews from back then are not valid anymore! Absolute fun puzzle game, it starts really easy and dull, but suddenly it turns up it's notch and puts you back on your seat, embaffled, puzzled but intriged!
Also hoping that the Developer is not abandoning this game, for me, it's a GEM and I want to see it getting developed untill full completion! Sure, some puzzles are not really puzzles. The ones that gives you a powerup for your glasses, feels like a joke. I would suggest, put projectile shooters that periodically shoot an arrow or fireball from one side to the other, while you are trying to light up all the tiles. PLUS: That sound it makes, everytime you light up a tile, it's quite annoying. Or use a softer comfortable sound, but not that high crisp tone. When you get stuck on a puzzle, you can access your journal, to see a hint. I tried not using the journal too often, ...

The wonderful, low-poly world is what drew me into this game. I love the environment so much that I tried my best to ignore the rough bits of this game. I was doing alright until the Sun section of the main game, where
some platforms disappear if you stay on too long. I had to restart the game in order to pass it
. When I beat the main game, I wasn't quite sure if I'd recommend it, because I had a decent time when I figured it out. I just loved the visual feast provided here, and thought that might override the not-so-great jumping exercises. During the bonus game (available after the main one is finished), there is a section where
you do some platforming on blocks, avoiding the invisible ones
. There, the checkpoint system was far too unforgiving. When it comes to platforming in first person, it's quite easy to make mistakes, so more attempts & checkpoints will be needed. This was one of those times where I was just so close to the end, that I fel...

If you are willing to pay for an hour of game play then it is very worth it. The puzzles start off really strong then just disappear for the rest of the game. It switches very quickly into a "visual experience" mixed with a semi-buggy jump platformer. Don't jump a lot on stairs or you'll just randomly die? The lighting also feels a bit too dark at points. Overall it was short and sweet, had a good time would bang again.

Treeker: The Lost Glasses - Classic + Remake Edition is a low poly first person adventure/platformer games. Solve some puzzles, jump on some platforms. You get a pair of glasses that helps you see invisible stuff, which is probably better for you than drinking enough 4-Loco to achieve the same effect. One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere actions from the developer, but unfortunately genuine intentions alone are not enough to produce a brilliant PC gaming experience. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and a...

OMG it's just cheap. It's borring. Have no pacing. It's ugly because everything is untextured, but the sun and clouds are sprites and it was distracting. If your game is "styilized" stick everything to one style or else it will look like the game is slapped together. Which is probably true for this title.

Beat it in 50mins, really not worth playing unless you are super bored and get this for free.

This game is tedious. Most of my (short) playtime was spent knowing already how to get to the next area, or how to solve a puzzle, but just waiting for treeker's pudgy butt to shift into gear. Yes I know about the sprint button, nearly got a cramp from holding it down so long. This game is needlessly self-indulgent in how slow the character moves, and how environmental items move/shift position. I have a feeling I didn't even reach the real meat of this game, but I think to get there would've put me beyond the threshold of refunding. (Don't even remember when or how I got this game)

I'm sorry, this game is just horrible. It was pretty boring to begin with (coming from a guy that plays indie walking simulators for fun), but I just passed an area with platforms you need to jump across, and the game mechanics don't allow you to do something like that (especially not when the game is buggy and some platforms completely disappear). Bad game. Not worth writing a proper review for.
