This game was only about $5 so I gave it a shot. As a casual gamer, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was and it was a great way to cap off a busy day at work. The music selection fit the worlds and I found myself playing the levels quite a few times just because of how much I enjoyed the music. I guess I was addicted. I also liked how the treble fades when you don't do so well but the bass continues so you can still get back your groove. I played with my mouse and the clicks were responsive. The animation was buttery smooth which was easy on the eyes. I liked how the walls rotated which created more dynamics and didn't feel like just another brick flying in your face. I enjoyed all the levels and songs but "We Fly" on Cyberdunes wasn't my favourite. It sent a lot of walls at me before I could figure out the rhythm so it would've been better to have slower walls until I figured out the beat -- funnily enough the rest of the song was a lot easier than the beginning and it...

About This Game

Beat Dodger is a Rhythm game that combines flying through obstacles, and tapping to the beat while jamming to tunes! Anyone can do it! All you have to do is follow 2 simple steps:

Obstacles fly towards you, when the obstacles reach about the size of the white ring, just Hit the Beat. Be careful though! Too early or too late, and it will count as a missed beat.

While tapping to the beat, fly up, down, diagonally, or sideways to soar through openings in the obstacles or catch collectibles and get the highest score! If you think you might not make it, use the Dash to gain a sudden boost of speed!
That's it! Easy to pick up, and hard to master, hope you enjoy your time playing Beat Dodger!

Learn the rhythm! Just like songs, all obstacles follow a pattern the same way you can learn a song by ear, you can learn the route by sight!
Chill Mode! Some people play games to just chill~ Enjoy Chill Mode where you can play the game worry free and just vibe to the music.
Colorblind mode! We know that some shades and colors will make it difficult for some of our players to enjoy the game. Introducing Colorblind Mode where we use colorblind friendly palettes so our colorblind friends can enjoy!
Free Future Content! Enjoy new tracks, and levels when we develop free futures patches.
Beat Dodger uses flashing lights and colors. Please use caution if you or people around you experiences epilepsy or similar conditions.

Fun game with a DDR feel to it. Pulsing outer circle is distracting and should only pulse when a beat is hit. Navigating the obstacles is fun with exception of star shaped hole that seems hard to avoid multiples with the size of character. Dash is hard to use due to speed of game. Played 4 worlds on normal difficulty.
It's a lot of fun getting into the rhythm of the game! Very trance-like/soothing experience. Would 100% recommend. A big shout out to the development team. Great work! Looking forward to getting through all the songs/planets. :)
Firstly, I just gotta say this game is PHENOMENAL. As a rhythm game enjoyer myself, playing this definitely felt very fun. I can't say I've played any other rhythm game that is played like this, and it's definitely a very unique and fun way to play the game, and I'm a massive fan of it as a result. I've also completed many of the songs achieving S rank score, although there are a few minor things that kinda irk me. I'd like to now list a couple things I love and dislike about the game.
### LOVE ### Gameplay As mentioned earlier, the gameplay in this is absolutely incredible. There is something truly satisfying about clicking on time with beats whilst also moving to dodge obstacles, and it scratches an itch I didn't realise I had. Truly, it is a brilliant idea and I can definitely see myself coming back to this game just for the satisfaction of the gameplay alone. Music The music choices, especially when paired with the worlds, are imma...
For the price I think this game is worth it. The music is enjoyable and it is fun trying to get the starts to the beat. However I wish there was more variety to the levels to make them more unique, and I found the constant pulsing of the circle a bit distracting. Overall though a fun way to relax after a stressful day.
This game is so fun and the BEATS ARE SICK! Very easy to get into it and lots of different ways to play :D Can't wait to go through the levels!!
