Decent MegaMan tribute that has a lot of small issues, but overall it has an enjoyable progression system and good stage variety. I would recommend playing the demo because it showcases the game's movement abilities which will be locked in the actual game. Technically it's not a Metroidvania, but you will need to unlock certain abilities and replay levels to pick up items - such as using a double-jump to reach a platform. I like that you can customise your main character, including sex, armour and colour (not a huge selection, but still a very welcome feature). Surprisingly the game has controller bindings for both keyboard and controller - I used Xbox-one pad, can't speak for other controllers. Unlike a lot of the MegaMan clones, Alpha Verison is not too difficult, if you die you can spend your resources in the store and try again, so eventually, you should make it through. The gameplay is serviceable, and I say that because the movement is not perfect, the momentum feels slightly...

About This Game
INTRODUCTION
Fight against all odds and repel an entire army from the great city of Itenbaal!Without warning, an experimental battalion composed entirely of humadroids went haywire during a sandstorm and turned on their very own place of creation.
They are called "Nadros".

Not only are they rapidly gaining terrain, but they also have under their hand a virus that turns anything with a processor into one of their ally.
The symptoms before complete infection are;
- Staggered motor functions
- Visions of "impossible" scenarios, tethering on the verge of paranormality
- Overheating main core
Should you experience anything of the sort, you must destroy the source of infection at all cost.

WELCOME TO ITENBAAL
Home of all modern technological wonders!Despite being almost entirely cut-off from the outer world, Itenbaal prides itself with its high-tech facilities, practically perfecting self-sufficiency even though it is located in the middle of drylands.
From self-maintaining power plants to underground labs fashioned from natural caves, From artificial nature parks to metal foundry directed by humadroids; the whole city has been designed to be as low-maintenance as possible!
Which makes the current situation much worse.

GEAR UP
Being a Class-C you are ill-fitted for combat.Give yourself an edge by layering yourself with equipment.
From boots to overclock your processor, to chest plates to damper damage... Every bit makes you a stronger Humadroid.
It might even help you reach places you though were inaccessible.

LOOK GOOD WHILE DOING IT
An advantage of being a Class-C is malleability.Be it a linear design or something made yourself, no harm in looking at your best!

NEWGAME+
Take the game beyond its limits.Newgame+ is more than just a higher difficulty, more vicous enemies and boss encounters awaits you ahead!

This is a fun Megaman-inspired game. Well worth it. If you've played Megaman X/Zero/ZX, you should enjoy this.
As of this review, I am at the near the end of the New Game+ mode; and like the dev says, these are surprises here and there in it (as if the regular mode didn't suprise me enough with all the interesting stuff going on, haha!) I followed this game a bit during it's development, and it's now no mystery why some segments of the game took time, let me just say that. After reading American Beetle's review (it's strange, I seem to often see a review from this Kaiju Hero; possibly a lover of indies and the Big Battel rpg game, hehe) I have to say, it solidified my interest in the game, and I purchased soon after reading it. How couldn't I? Character editor of a C Class humadroid; this is like a dream come true for jump 'n shoot robot fans, hehe. The game shines with creativity, and isn't against throwing you a fast one here and there. The game's combat isn't blindingly fast-paced like most, and rewards patience and planning your next move. there is an unlockable sprint function you...
This was a very short and fun Mega Man lite sort of game. The music is lively, the sprites and artwork is gorgeous and there are multiple bosses to fight with half a dozen upgradable weapons. You can also play as your very own custom made character.
I was able to beat the game in under 6 hours, but this game will most likely scratch your Megaman itch. However it isn't a strait up clone
as bosses don't give you the weapons, some levels have many multiple paths, oh and no dash which I liked because it changed the pace of the game in a good way.
[+] done well, [~] quirky opinion, [-] poor GAMEPLAY [+] Some of the levels have different layouts than strait up linear. [+] One thing that is done well is that weapons actually have use cases when fighting certain enemies. [-] The shield also had its use cases, which I had fun with reacting to gunfire with it. However, it's usefulness waned in favor of mobility upgrades later in the game. [-] Collision boxes sometimes are hard to read at first. Each level has different effects distinguishing what is and what isn't a part of the foreground/background. Once you know what can and cant hit you you're good to jump and shoot. [-] Cut-scenes occasionally prevent you from ...
I have played plenty of Mega Man-like games in the past, thankfully most of them were successfully pretty good (we don't talk about "Mighty No. 9"). This overlooked game is nearly excellent. It is one of the slower pace games, so don't expect to run to the speed of sound gunning everything on your path. You will need to be methodical, focus and beware the one-hit death spikes. Bosses plenty to defeat and, don't worry, you won't find just a big roster of Robot Masters to defeat. They are far more interesting. There are plenty of updates you can get, most of them important for the metroidvania aspect of it. A+ for visually seeing your armor updates while you are playing. I truly believe here we have a hidden gem. If it was more well-known it would have been a big success and possibly a sequel. Highly recommend it. 9/10
Pretty good Mega Man inspired game.
7/10 While not the best megaman clone out there, the nice sprite work, techno soundtrack and authentic mm feel make it an enjoyable game despite a few hitches here and there. only major gripes i have are the few sections where you play as knock off zero aren't fun and the upgrade system makes early game feel grindy.
A short and good platformer if you like that kind of game. The story is funny without too many things to highlight and the gameplay is the same. The game have a good variety of guns and upgrades, the levels and endless mode are decent, and have a decent/good art design in general. The only problems are some issues with the controls (Especially when yo try to alternate between glide or do wall tricks), the practically useless shield (because you can't use it if you dont are in ground and totally still), and the optimization problem when are too much points in the screen (Its not really annoying in my opinion). Ignoring the previous issues, its a totally worth game to play. P.S. If try to beat it fast (Without all achievements), probably you will do it between 2 hours and an hour and a half, or even least.
