basically b+hopping + rocket jumping + demoman nade launcher all combined into its own game (albeit far more forgiving). wonderful
it's soooo good, if you like source movement/bhopping/rocket jumping you'll love this game, and even if you don't, mastering the movement is so much fun, it's very accessible too with the 'wading pool' alternate paths. fantastic aesthetic, lore, and music too. extra content with the skill points and stuff is great too. overall really sick and I can't wait for the next chapters, i'm keen to see how hard this game can get, definitely see myself 100%ing it

Gameplay wise, love it. It's awesome and sometimes just feels like you're playing a themed, well-crafted jump or bhop map from Source games. I'm just really not certain if this creepy alien theme actually compliments the awesome gameplay though. That and poor visibility in some sections intentionally making you fail the first time because you simply couldn't see the thing. I feel like this is more of a hindrance, but that might also just be me. Still had a blast playing it. I also just wish some things were better explained. There is a scream button that isn't really clear, and at some point the game tells you to... be quiet and hide? Why? from what? There was no enemy on the map this tip was given, and enemies in the later chapters weren't out of the ordinary. Skill orbs. I love collecting them for the challenge, I also have no idea what those do. Probably just a collectible.
