I have not got very far into Sneebles The Half Cat, but I love it. I've played other contemporary single-screen arcade games that were fun, but none really had the same amount of meat on the bone mechanically as this does. You have a large moveset which gives you lots of options on how to tackle situations and player expression, and no two games play quite the same so you'll need to think on your feet a lot. I even quite like how the movement speed is just right to pass between enemies really tightly, which feels great to do. The art is really charming and the music is excellent throughout and really catchy
when the handclaps kick in I get hyped every time
. Honestly just really impressed with this throughout. If you have any propensity towards arcade-style gaming give it a go. it's a game and such with the hopping and jumping
it plays like a retro style 8bit game its really fun. I would think this is something you would find in a arcade cabinet in the mall.
This game was a treat and a joy to play. The gameplay is very reminiscent of old arcade cabinets that hit a very special string through the entirety of playing. It hits that itch of throwing your head back and going "AHHHHHH" when you mess up but when you do a purrfect combo you throw your head up and go "AHHHHH" in excitement. The music was a treat and for anyone that hates tomatoes it is a plus as well.
