Well this game came out of nowhere. I saw it recommended on Steam based on some other games I've enjoyed. My community and I do spooky streams on the weekends, so I picked it up, and it sat in my backlog for the past few months. I had no idea I was missing out. Indie horror games from the past couple of years have been the best place to find innovation in the industry, and this game is no exception. It captures the experience of guilt, PTSD, fear, and longing so well. I really felt for Bernard, and I was compelled to get to the attic, to see where the story would go. The game is terrifying at times with some excellent jump scares and a lot of tense moments in the dark. The unique experience of navigating in a power chair, in a place that wasn't built to be accessible, really added to how tense some moments are. Story
Bernard Thorne just got discharged from the hospital after recovering from falling down the stairs of his house. As usual, he wakes up from his sleep in the middle of the night. Normally he would read a book and wait for the sunrise, but tonight is different. Tonight, he has to climb up the attic.

Great Game!! Really beautiful story!
This was such a big jump from their last game Love, Sam. This story was beautifully written and hopefully can help people understand that your hardest critic is always you. The pacing was incredible and the foreshadowing was perfectly executed. I am a very sensitive person, this game brought me to tears so much so I couldn't read some of the letters out loud without breaking into sobs. If you love War movies, you'll love the care this game put into portraying how devastating war is. This poor man as been torturing himself because of it and hopefully can find peace. I highly recommend this game and still recommend playing Love, Sam if you haven't!
