It's short and quirky with visual reminding me of the old time point and click adventure games. On the flip side, while the story itself is charming the gameplay itself is rather simplistic. I wish there was more to the deduction and item combination or multiple item usage. It can be 100% in less than 3 hours at leisure pace.

A Very short game that does not get to my no more than a $1 an hour of value mantra. Additionally, the Game is set up in a way that can make Holmes and Watson homosexuals, which is absolutely ridiculous and such a disgrace to the Holmes mythos.

I absolutely ADORED this game. From the first few minutes in playing, I knew it was quality. I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, so seeing all the references and the clever inserts from the stories into this game was just delightful. It warmed my heart through and through <3 It's cozy and satisfying in game-play. And holy cow, the voice acting was SUPERB. Seriously--the writing was excellent and I was just truly impressed all around. I know I'm going to play this over and over to explore all the dialogue and interactions fully, and it'll be enjoyable every time. It made me laugh. It made me happy. This was an exquisite piece of work. Well done, and I highly recommend!

I thought overall this was a wonderful game, with a wholesome, sweet story. I thought the puzzles were challenging enough, and I really liked the mechanic of deducing solutions in Holmes' mind. No spoilers, but the story is very sweet, and you can have a few different outcomes at the end with dialogue choices. The only con for me was sadly the sound design and lack of settings. I thought the voice acting was brilliant, but you could barely hear it most of the time, as there was absolutely no way to turn down sound effects. The only sound settings were "main" and "dialogue". That is not enough. There always should be a sound effects and music option in games imo. That was my main annoyance to an otherwise perfect game If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes and point n clicks, this is the game for you. It is also LGBTQA+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈

TLDR: One of the most delightful and touching afternoons I've ever had. So. I was a big Sherlock Holmes fan when I was a kid. Read every story. Watched as many versions as I could get my hands on. Kind of obsessed, and saw Holmes' weirdness in myself in all kinds of ways that make sense now in retrospect. This game is not a murder mystery. It is set after all the stories, when Holmes has retired and is actually strangely beyond his extended decades-long manic phase. Watson has come home after surviving World War 1. Holmes feels bad for him, and has missed him terribly, and wants to throw him a nice picnic to take his mind off things. So, let me put that plainly. THIS IS A SWEET LITTLE GAME ABOUT A MAN DOING SOMETHING NICE FOR THE PERSON HE CARES MORE ABOUT IN THE WHOLE WORLD SO HE CAN WORK UP THE COURAGE TO TELL HIM HOW MUCH THEIR RELATIONSHIP MEANS TO HIM. *sobs quietly* That, by itself, is noteworthy. But what REALLY gets me is that they've nailed Sherlock Holmes as a character...
