Captain Firehawk is the first game developed by Portland Caviar, a duo of developers pursuing their dreams. It's a simple game designed to experiment aesthetically with the look of old CRT TVs, arcades, and 80s & 90s anime.

About the Game

A shooter where your bullets strip off clothing pieces from giant, skyscraper-sized women! Inspired by many classics from the golden age of arcades, Captain Firehawk pays respect to the Shoot 'Em Up genre, putting a comedic and raunchy twist on the classic formula.

When enormous, size-morphing vixens begin attacking planets throughout the galaxy, only one team can stand against these formidable foes and set things right: Emmy the engineer, Dr. Unit, the cinematographer robot, and Captain Firehawk, a pizza guy with a pilot's license. They must rely on their wits, quick reflexes and - of course - Firehawk's legendary retro gaming skills!

By reaching 100% progress in each stage, a special animation will be unlocked. Progress is based on the amount of money raised, which is cumulative, so with skill, you can unlock new content in just a few tries - or even on your first!

Recommended

Play style made me long for an old top down called Tyrian. The music and play style is reminiscent of the 90's, and that's pretty cool. Your ship is effectively immortal, but the challenge in getting all the coins and readying the giantess while avoiding bullets is a neat way to get your full stars. The porn scenes are the corniest, and that's pretty on-par with the feeling they were going for. 8/10 would reccommend.

As someone who grew up on this style of shoot 'em up game back in the 90's it was an instant purchase for me, the graphics and style take me right back to the good old days and was intensely fun too; some might say the basic enemies get repetitive but that Was also a staple of 80's/90's shmup games :) Lovely graphics, a great soundtrack and after getting all achieves I had to leave a review... and of course, the giant sized and incredibly detailed ladies definitely add to the enjoyment of the game~ ;)

It's enjoyable and easy enough, the character designs are good and the story is fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. My only gripe is that for some reason the H scenes that happen after you defeat the giantesses didn't play for me and so I thought that the game didn't have much NSFW content until I found them in the gallery after completing the game. Otherwise it's a solid title that I'd love to see more of.
