[h1] Sargasso Review - (2 hours of playtime with cheat engine & played on f95) [/h1] [b]Review:[/b] I like the idea and game mechanics. At first the game was overwhelming and hard. Lack of proper tutorial puts you in trial and error type of learning. Once you get over the curve (I used cheat engine to understand without losing much) it become more enjoyable. This is a game that h-content is added as a spice rather than main dish. It's a turn-based game with cheap low poly chicks who are fighting against tentacles and tentacles only. I gave 4/5 star because I liked the game mechanics. It'd 5/5 if there were more enemy types and animations. [b]Game Mechanics:[/b] You start with 40 food and you're trying to salvage repair packs to repair your ship and escape this hell hole. Each chick you send to mission consumes 1 food so you got to calculate how much chick is required to complete the salvage missions. In each ship there are multiple boxes you can salvage and a new chick waiting to be...

As it is obvious from the amount of time (> 100 h) I spent with this game, I really like it. Sometimes it is hard and demanding, but never unfair. It has a steep learning curve, but that it is what keeps it for me interesting. All the stages except the very last (?) one were well balanced, But the more you repair the ship, the more it gets one sided. Please keep in mind to finish the game you don't have to repair the ship completely. I finished all my playthroughs successfully, but I don't want to write about the used tactics, because it is part of the fun to develop them according to the situation. Hopefully that game gets further development (DLC ?) or another one of this kind from the author. Fully recommended!

Originally purchased game from another distribution site. Got on steam due to the updated models. Worth it as the creator just keeps updating game with new features and overall gameplay and content is good.
