About This Game

Free Combustia from the tyranny of the monarchy! The king has decreed that due to the dangers of explosives, gunpowder will henceforth be illegal. However, The Knights of the Exploding Table won't take this edict sitting down! Embark as Knight Bomber, Dusk Bomber, Day Bomber, and Dawn Bomber to reclaim the kingdom's gunpowder mines, and prove to the king that explosives are a human right!

Adventure through the kingdom the only way a proper knight knows: by blowing everything up! Players can place, kick, lift, empower, throw, and even remotely detonate their bombs to make an impact on their enemies and the obstacles in their way. But take heed! Not even the Knights of the Exploding Table are immune to their own explosives.

While you're on your way to reclaim the kingdom's gunpowder supplies, pick up all the gems you can find, as you can use them to buy hats with which you can customize your knight. Also those golden clovers... they might be useful for something later on.

When you need a break from the noble knights' quest, try out the Explosion Battles! The rules are simple: 1. Blow up your rivals, 2. Don't blow up yourself! Play as any of the Knights of the Exploding Table or as an enemy from the Adventure mode, and face off against up to 3 of your friends in local play, or against the computer. Or just watch the computer battle itself, that's always fun!

This Early Access build of Knights of the Exploding Table includes the following features:

  • 4 Single-Player Adventure Mode Stages, with 5 optional collectibles in each stage.
  • 10 PVP Stages, which allow for battles with 2 to 4 local players or A.I. combatants.
  • 1 Unlockable Single Player Debug Stage.
  • 21 Collectable Hats which can be purchased with currency earned in the Adventure Mode Stages.

The use of a controller is recommended for this game, but it is not required. Both the keyboard and controllers can be remapped in the options menu, and the remapping settings are automatically saved for the keyboard and up to 4 controller slots.

If you've got an itch for destruction, there's always a seat for you at the exploding table.

the game seems to be a simple old timey game with a lot of similar aspects from older popular 3d games like this to me personally it is quite boring the controls are not really that clear the menu can be confusing and it recommends using a controller but that to me makes it a lot harder to play

This is clearly a passion project for the devs. It has a lot of potential and is very satisfying to play. I've never played Bomberman 64 but I am told this is a lot like it. I'm a big fan of the game right now, and can't wait to see how it develops!

A Bomberman 64 inspired Jank-fest, but not in a bad way. Absolutely love the theme, the levels were thought out (though can be broken with the uncapped speed stat), and overall excited to see this game go places.

This is quite the game! A very rewarding puzzle game to say the least. Great original sound track and sound effects. I just finished the first level and level two is looking even more entertaining.

I really enjoyed my time with this game. Coming from the perspective of someone who played 3D bomberman games as a kid, I loved to see a spiritual successor to a game franchise that hasn’t gotten much love over the years. I particularly liked the challenge of finding the clovers in the different stages. Can’t wait to see more.
