A very charming, playful, and funny exploration game, on top of having some very enjoyable writing, I don't think the trailer shows just how creative it really is. It's actually very similar to a game called 'QT' in the vibes, it's so similar I thought it was the same person, but I guess I was wrong. It's the kind of a game where you look for secrets, hidden achievements, and discovering creative ways to interact with the world, you could say it's one of those self-aware experiences. I was able to find the ending by accident which apparently you could get in a few minutes, but at the time of this review I am still missing a lot of the optional achievements, well, most of them are optional anyway, but you could probably get few hours of exploration in total. I am not sure how much of a glitchy exploration was intentional, I suspect the developer left ways to break the game on purpose, but I have a feeling even the dev didn't know how far I could push it. There is an intentional way to r...

Buy the game. For 5$ you get a great experience where you talk to npcs about philosophy and meaning and nonsense and you can draw which seems menial, but is super fun and unique aspect. The song is absolutely bussin. Whoever wrote this masterpiece deserves a proverbial glucc glucc 2000. I listen to this song at least 23 times a month and it should on Spotify (I have looked, it's not there). The art is also a treat with many fun and creative characters full to the the brim with personality and pizzaz. It is a very short game, but each moment was really enjoyable to unpack. It is also cool to see the creator(s?) thought processes and glimps on their life as well.
There's a crab that runs and he's cool. It also comes with a video game. 5 dabloons well spent
I painted the entire beach. My PC did not like that.
PROS: I love games like this. It has a similar feel and look to Antimatiere. It really puts you in a different world. The author did a good job creating somewhat surreal environments in a zepplin, on the beach, in a city at night. CONS: There is no menu screen. I have to press Alt+Esc in order to exit the game. The first time, I just forced a shutdown because I could see no other way of getting out of the game. After fixing the three elevators and coming back to the museum, most of the museum has become completely black, which makes it very difficult to navigate or go anywhere else. Maybe this is part of the game, idk, but it doesn't seem so. It seems that the basic controls decal that covers everything in front of you at the beginning of the game turns black, perhaps... Each area seems to try to reset itself upon arrival. The elevator doors re-shut, the chest bridge retracts and the key respawns. It seemed likely to me that I the game continued at the museum but since that seemed gli...
"him" was my favorite npc in the game. he was kind of rude and unsettling, but a pleasant uh thing i suppose. my favorite quote from the game was *crab noises*. don't think crabs make noises but it running in circles with that text above its head was pretty great. also, CLACKACLACKACLACKACLACKA was another good one. also liked that some of the npc's knew they were in a video game and questioned it or just accepted it. super fun mindless game where you run around and interact with characters that make you question life and its purpose while being surrounded by some sort of interesting environment. cool game, claps to whoever was involved in creating this game.
this game is so incredibly buggy but i love it for it its extremely hard to get this game not to glitch out, whether that be spawning in the wrong areas, interacting with menus far after they are gone, some walls just straight up dont have collision. for a very long time i was incapable of playing the game due to an elevator button being pressed whenever i pressed "start" in the main menu. the game is also very prone to crashing, most often happening in the elevator. in most parts of the level in between where areas load in, you are able to walk through gaps in the wall, even sometimes being able to load multiple areas at once. the game is also unable to be beaten, because of a bug.
It's a very creative short indie game, with a fun story. Only problem with the game is that it has an unachievable achievement, and some achievements are bugged since an update for the game. But the game itself is fun to play.
Mini Mecum's revieww!!
PROS - The art concept in general is very cool - Dialogues are fun to read - There's a crab in the island that I spent a lot of time chasing lmao 10/10 - Innovative gameplay, no pressures while playing it - It's a very fair price - You can actually get addicted to the main theme lol - A lot of fun little secret things here and there ;) CONS - I found it a bit too short :( - It's easy to find bugs, but nothing that affects the gameplay, the "Stuck" button is amazing! P.S. I got emotional reading the credits, congratulations to the developers! Keep up the good work xo
I had a really fun time exploring and really didn't know what to expect in all the areas. So many fun secrets and cool places.
