I really didn't want to say this, but as you can probably see for yourself: "The last update made by the developers was over 2 years ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date." It's joever. The game's been abandoned, and it sucks because I really wanted to see where this game could've gone, because I love the premise. I hope maybe it gets picked up again in the future, but as of now there's not really any reason to believe it's going to get worked on anytime soon. I really, REALLY wanted this game to turn out ok, but... well, it didn't. It sucks but that's how it'd be sometimes.

About This Game
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
Isaiah 188 has three campaigns, one for each of the factions. (At release into early access, only the UN campaign is available). Play through the most critical battles of the Supremacy War!The other main mode in Isaiah 188 is Solar Conquest, which starts in 2257 with realistic planetary orbits and positions. Choose a starting scenario and your faction, and conquer the solar system!
Go from the solar system view all the way down to individual battlefields in solar conquest mode
GET ORBITAL
- Planets orbit the Sun, and relative distances change as the game advances
- Build 10 different ship types, from cruisers to supply ships to fleet carriers
- Research units and recruit armies in orbit
- Send fleets and armies to other worlds; everywhere is connected
- Land armies and conquer planets through ground battles, every planet has multiple Control Zones that must be conquered
- Build defense and construction stations in orbit
- Construct ground defenses that annihilate landing dropships
"What are those new lights in the sky?"
- Every world has its own orbital grid
- Manage delta-V in an accessible way, no pulling knobs till trajectories look right
- Use megaton strikes on nearby enemy fleets (explosions don't work in space, but radiation sure does!)
- Bombard planetary defenses before landing troops
- Three weapon types: missiles, railguns, and lasers/particle beams
- No single health bars here - ships register damage depending on the type of hit: either superficial, critical, or catastrophic damage
"It's not speed that kills - it's the sudden railgun impact at the bottom that gets ya."
Space combat is "fly by" newtonian combat, with relative velocities taken into account, and weapon ranges based on whether the other ships can dodge or intercept at that distance. Distances are measured in light milliseconds, hundreds of miles, and combat will be over in seconds. Your captains and crews do the fighting for you, but you must make key decisions before combat starts.
GROUND POUND
Ground combat on traditional hex grids requires cunning when planning maneuvers and attacking.- Nearly twenty different units per faction
- Heavy tanks just won't work on Europa; army composition matters
- Flanking, terrain, damage types - every choice in battle matters
- Units grant customizable bonuses to allies as they level up during combat
- Emergent AI and terrain generation ensure combat is always fresh
- Unleash powerful orbital strikes during combat (if you have ships upstairs!)
Even the clouds of the gas giants play host to war
THE FACTIONS

(these particular aliens have not had a flag since before humans fell out of Eden)
- The Martian Commonwealth, or more accurately, the MCVCM - their military. A laser focus on AI and genetic engineering has given Mars a definite technologic edge over Earth. "It means 'Martial Commonwealth Volume Control Military,' and I unabashedly made the acronym first and decided what it stood for second."
- The United Nations Solar Expeditionary Force, or UN-SOLEXFOR. Earth's people are fractured and the planet is sick, but ten thousand years of warrior culture are not so easily ignored. "It doesn't hurt that there are thirteen billion of them either, and the corporate council has a lot of money."
- A strange alien presence, calling themselves the "Haptha Garden Song," have appeared out in the farthest reaches past Neptune - their spores flung across the stars, what do they want? Find out when their campaign releases!
THE MUSIC
Call me biased, but I think my composer did an absolutely stupendous job. His name is Pietro Frigerio . The soundtrack is awesome, give it a listen and support independent music creators when you get a chance!
