About This Game

Ekoh 99 has been isolated for years, but a job posting for the mysterious planet’s new town planner brings you to this quaint tropical paradise. Your work is cut out for you. The town has been devastated by an evil Robot Rebellion, and the brilliant quantum scientist: Dr Terra has disappeared! Fulfil your destiny and rebuild the town, befriend its new citizens, bring the planet back to life, and uncover the lost secrets of Ekoh Beach as you return it to its former glory!

Rebuild the town of Ekoh Beach! Ekoh Beach has seen better days and the Robot Rebellion left the town in ruins. Restore Ekoh Beach to its high-tech heyday with the help of some weird and wonderful hyper-quantum resources. There's no place like your new home but it sure is a mess! Most of the townspeople are gone and the old houses are either blasted by Rebelling Robots or just plain falling down! Start with a few humble houses then build bustling business like the inter-Dimensional bakery or MegaBrain Library. As the town grows and people return the projects get even more ambitious…how about a Quantum Mechanics or even a Spaceport!?
Make It Your Own! Build quick but basic houses to get started but upgrade to fancier dwellings like the RelaxoShack (patent pending) and EcoTropia as new material becomes available. Paint your houses just how you like them and plant some seasonal genetically enahanced flowers to put your stamp on the town.
Customize your character with different hairstyles and tshirts. You can even give the gift of a haircut to that special someone who probably doesnt want a haircut. (Nothing says I love you like a surprse haircut). Keep on customizin' throughout the game as new outfits become available.
Bring the Town Back to Life! Its not just houses, buildings and amenities that youre building! A town is nothing without its residents and Ekoh Beach is no different. Your new builds will encourage the new residents to move into restored homes. With over 35 unique NPCs to build relationships with, the town is sure to grow astronomically!
Run for Mayor. After building Ekoh Beach up from nothing, it can’t be that hard to convince the townspeople to vote for you to be their new mayor. Finally unlock those old Town Buildings spending your political capital on your next big building project!
Explore the Secrets of Ekoh Beach! While the Robot Rebellion is long past, echoes of it lurk deep beneath the town, and Dr. Terra’s lab is abandoned in the forest. Are you brave enough to investigate and solve the mysteries surrounding Ekoh Beach?

Ekoh Beach is this warm, laid-back little game where you stroll along sun-drenched shores, meet friendly locals, and slowly breathe life back into a sleepy seaside town. You fix things up at your own pace—no stress, just sunshine and good vibes. Every nail hammered and wall painted breathes new life into the town, and the island stirs a little more—new faces arrive, new stories unfold. The art pops with warm tropical colors, and the music sways like palm trees in the breeze. It’s not about rushing—it’s about unwinding, one cozy task at a time.

It's a really cozy type game. I can tell they put a lot of passion into this. My favourite part is the different characters and creatures, they really make the world fun and interesting to explore. There is a lot to do, but the main thing is you rebuild the town, one building at a time. Feels really satisfying getting a new building done, especially since the different buildings have such unique designs, they have a real [b][i] tropical sci-fi? [/i][/b] feel to them ;) To build the houses you will need to acquire different materials and items in different ways, in some games that can feel tedious/grindy, but here they really put a lot of care to make it feel satisfying and rewarding. There are a lot of different mechanics and mini games connected to how you collect stuff and interact with the world. I will write a more detailed review once I have finished the game, but so far I am really enjoying this.

Unfortunately can’t recommend this game yet because it doesn’t quite feel finished. Not playable on steam deck as I’d hoped and even on PC, things don’t seem intuitive and there are some of what seem to be UX/UI errors, ie beach sand vacuum not functioning and pop ups with important info appearing at the edge of the screen where they’re blocked / unreadable. Not returning the game quite yet in the hopes of more quick patches to address some of these issues because it did look really cute.

I'm liking this game so far. The artstyle and music is phenomenal. The UI and tutorial need work though. I'm confident the team that made such a good looking and sounding game can work on these points through feedback.

does not feel finished. needs a better tutorial system. the navigation of where to go isn't exactly the greatest. player walks super slow. tutorial doesn't tell you exactly what you need to build your home. hopefully one day it gets better but unfortunately i had to request a refund.
