I gave this game a shot and initially I found it to be extremely hard and a bit confusing. Being a developer myself, I reached out to the developer about some of the issues I had with the early game mechanics and interactions and they were very receptive to my input. The next day there was a patch available with a lot of early game fixes and tutorials making it a lot easier to figure out how to play and the mechanics are a lot better, while still being challenging. I look forward to improvements and hopefully expansions in the coming months. It's a fun little game for now that has a lot of potential. Edit: Coming back after almost 3.5 hours of play time. This game is great now and I want more!

Super fun!! Great mechanics, cute animation, cool music, and it gets pretty challenging after a couple nights. Love the different weapons and zombie types, they keep you on your toes! Can't wait to do some more runs... I gotta beat my son's record lol
I have owned the game for a week and I have seen some nice improvements added already. I like that the controls are easy to learn. I have only played 30 minutes so far - not made it far enough into the game yet to access the other weapons. I don't understand the purpose of the generator. The music is good. I get frustrated when i get surrounded by zombies and die near the same spot because the game places a tombstone where I died and it never goes away, so I get stuck between several tombstones and a crowd of zombies and cannot escape. I think I should be able to smash the tombstone with the baseball bat! I am hoping that a future improvement will let me get in the car and drive it somewhere. I will keep playing it and post more reviews in the future.
Game looks as awesome as it does in the trailer. When I started it took a moment to get used to the controls. Mouse a bit finicky but I slowed down my sensitivity it got a lot better. 30 min later I'm still hooked. The game is a blast. I enjoy the fact that I can die as many times as i want but only if I keep the generator running for Junebug's cute little cabin. So far I've got to night 15 and let me tell you the hordes get bigger. Definitely a game I'll be coming back to.
A fun but challenging game. Watch out for the ghosts and the big guys they will get ya!
Fun, Challenging game that doesn't take too much to learn. Enjoyable in its straightforward play style without suffering from a lack of gameplay. Can't wait to see what new creatures and content is coming in the future
Fun survival game. There are several enemy types that make it much more interesting. The "Keep your Generator alive to respawn" mechanic is pretty clever and provides an interesting way to cap the endless waves without being a simple "you have this many lives" number. Adding a timer to show how much longer the night will last or how much longer you have to buy things at the shop would be helpful but not necessary.
