summary ; if you are just after a police shoot em' up then this isn't for you. if however you are after an experience that may make you think a lot more than you were expecting then give this a go. In my opinion this is A GEM and ONE OF A KIND.**I should also mention that this game definitely has the potential for some rather confronting encounters, i myself have so far encountered things such as suicide by cop, what appeared to be a mentally ill person who had a firearm and i was forced to fire etc. This game can be very confronting at times but i think that is what makes it such a worthwhile experience.**I'm not sure you can call this a game as much as you'd call it an emulator. It tries to portray the kinds of situations police officers and other law enforcement/security personnel might be confronted with. You never know what you'll be facing until it's over, there's often barely time to think before you have to decide which amount of force to apply to any of the scenarios. I found ...

Play in Easy or Normal Mode
Easy Mode (rookie) play through allows you to draw weapons without failing, unless you hit an innocent civilian. This is set as the default.
Normal Mode (professional) play through allows you to play the game as originally intended.
Circumstances are likely to change extremely quickly to test if you can react to any situation.
Your job is to observe and react with the appropriate amount of force.
Remember just grabbing and picking up a weapon is a USE OF FORCE
You're armed with a side arm pistol, taser, pepper spray and handcuffs.

Police Response VR: Disturbance is quite funny, the cartoonish characters and environments and the many different scenarios and dialogues are quite entertaining. Here's how I fared as a rookie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ddf96T0zcwE The game may be funny at times, but part of the game also teaches us about the rules of a cop. When can you use a weapon, and which weapon, and when absolutely not, and also importantly, in what way? These are all questions that are answered in the game through a short tutorial and then more understood in practice through the many scenarios that the game offers us, since it is a video game you can use the weapons any time you want however you want but there is only 1 correct way at a time to end the issues as justly as possible. When you play the game seriously you will also realize that agents often have to be very patient and adhere to procedures at all costs, often in the game you will think 'he gives me a reason to shoot', when that is not yet a ...
Great Concept! Just needs a lot more content. More scenarios. More Locations. Definitely more dialogue. Keep building on this one devs. You guys are onto something great.
Game of the year right here.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/1OT-G006nl8 This is in Early Access and it definitely feels like an alpha build. There's not much here and this needs lots of work to be something useful. However, for those of us interested in criminal justice, this is a very interesting project which we should support if we want a chance at something special being made. Of course, supporting the dev is always a risky proposition, especially with the Steam Early Access program where there's no guarantee this dev will continue working on the project. Here's what I can say, currently, this app would only appeal to those interested in criminal justice or those looking for very cheap laughs. What's here currently is very bare bones. There is no locomotion or smooth or snap turning. You have very limited actions you can take. You can basically draw your handgun, your tazer, your pepper spray, or your handcuffs to e...
I'm officially police certified.
Don't get fooled by the wacky graphics, this is a solid police simulator. The game loop is simple: you and your partner respond to a disturbance call. you get in front of the house, knock on the door... and anything can happen. You have to stay calm and focused, and react with the proper tool if someone's being a threat. Things can go from 0 to 100 without any warning, and you'll only have a split-second to decide what to do In some cases. Well worth the asking price for a unique experience that wi-KNIFE! KNIFEKNIFE!
Very intriguing game. It truly captures the manic nature of the job, what seems like a normal call could escalate to a stabbing in seconds. I went in expecting a bit of a laugh but on my second mission the bad guy drew his gun so quickly that I didn't react- while I was waiting for the next mission all I could think of was the sheer speed it happened, I am thankful that our UK officers don't have to deal with that as often as our cousins across the Atlantic, but it does make you understand the trigger happiness of US cops
Honestly the only redeeming thing about the game is the concept and the time spent to record the dialogue without bursting in tears.
Literally first impressions
The moment you purchase the game, you'll be greeted with this Library Page so you know you're going to be in for the ride of your life. The game's store page markets it on your reaction time, but I can assure you that it will be non existent once you're blown away by the state of the game.
Graphics design isn't my passion but this UI is a crime
The moment you launch the game you'll be put in a locker room with the most horrid VR UI you can imagine. The UI elements are on par with the library logo. The locker room ones aren't the worst offenders since you can pass that part of the game fine. The others in the tutorial are represented like the wallpapers in school you're never gonna read because it's common sense. How the fuck am I supposed to know that its clickable ...
The concept is good. I hope you will continue to develop it because the idea is very interesting. There's a lot of work to be done, but at least in this early version I got the creeps of having to quickly pull out the gun and shoot the attacker. It's realistic, it puts you in the situation of the policeman, who is in every intervention between being fired and going to jail or dying.
