If you like games like Dawn of Man and Banished, this game is NOT really for you. While it is a basic city builder with many of the same objects as these other games, it is more like a clicker game than a strategy resource development game. You start out just having to click over and over and over again on herb trees in order to have enough resources to perform rituals. Then you have to click over and over and over on the women in your clan to make them cuddle their men to have babies. Eventually you get a herbalist who takes over the clicking for you and after that your herbs are so abundant you never have to click an herb again. Then when you get 3 buildings you can turn on auto-cuddle for your women and you don't have to click cuddle any more (though this doesn't seem to work particularly well). Then you start clicking on Oxen to tame them. Then you start clicking on planting trees. The early game is a carpal tunnel nightmare of clicking - you will be trying to figure out ...

I want to like this game because it's different. The whole management from the point of view of a tribal shaman is very interesting. As it stands there's no game balance and not much gameplay, the price tag is also very optimistic. I don't think there's a real game here, more of a fishtank - you do the basic things and watch things evolve. For anyone looking for a challenging city builder/manager this game is a pass. Shame really.

If you enjoy games like Dawn of Man or Banished I would recommend this game for you. I find it interesting that you need to build altars to enable research to enable more stuff your shaman can do and that you need to find a woman for each man that settles in your "village". But there are a few cons with this game that I've noticed so far. The GUI is a bit wonky from time to time and it's tricky to read and understand what some things do. The prio for your orders does not make sense sometimes and it needs more depth but I think it's a fun game and has real potential.

There are positives and neagtives to say about this game: Postive: - nice graphics with great lighting effects - interesting village system - Slow progress in the village, which I like very much - it makes me forget the time while I play :) negative: - UI could be better - too few hotkeys, no manual settings possible - in general a few settings - and then bugs: too many had bugs like: - game has crashed - Fame (currency in game) is not calculated correctly or will not be paid as a reward - had problems saving and loading the game Conclusion: It is good but not well developed yet. It takes some time, a few patches and bug fixes. but for the price I can not complain

I really want to like this game, but I'm already stuck on the tutorial. Seems there's a bug that won't allow the "build" menu to close after planting a bush (stuck on pause) therefore I can't even finish the tutorial!! I went to discord server and there's nobody there, sooo.... I don't know if this is truly a bug, or something I'm doing wrong. Instructions are pretty straight forward so I think the game is buggy therefore I can't recommend a game that I can't even get through the tutorial on.

I am playing the game for a while now and really enjoy it. At the first glance there were a lot of things going on so it took a while to understand villagers behaviour. Game is very well balanced and have good pace. At the begining possibility to play on slow speed allowed me to absorb and admire nice nature and sun rises :) Later on when making new buildings, harvesting or cutting wood I preferred max speed. At the later stage of the game, I just slightly changing villagers behaviour through economy interface and focusing mainly to build my own Stonehenge. Game offers plenty of monuments of different shape, size and colors to make incredible structures, that have direct influence on fame income. It is very satisfying when village grows bigger, men and women have children, you let the make clothes and tools, so they don't get cold so often and doing their tasks more quickly. If children learns enough skills from parents, leaving village and earning fame by it. Appreciate I can try diff...

I love this game. I found it pretty intuitive, got stuck a few times but I figured it out. The motto of this game is KISS, Keep it simple, stupid. It has a basic recipe that once learnt permeates the game and allows you to progress at a good rate. I didn't get all the achievements on my first play through and I learnt so much about where I should place things that I absolutely have to try again and I want to start from the beginning because, it's just that much fun to play! I can understand why some gamers may be frustrated with the game however I believe that has more to do with the current culture of gaming more so than the game. What I mean is, people are used to games that are tedious and arduous in nature. This game is casual, it has simple mechanics that are straight forward. If you can't maintain enough herbs, consider that every time they are watered, they grow. If you plant 100 plants then your workers have to water them to full and then chop them, it is inefficient. This is...

I have very much enjoyed the time I have spent playing this game. It certainly has the same setting as Dawn of Man which I also played. This one has a different emphasis in that it deals with a village that is basically filled with rituals that you perform for pilgrims that arrive from "surrounding villages". You will build buildings that help gather the resources to help build altars and monuments that help your shamans et al complete the rituals that the pilgrims want. There is also research to open more rituals than you start with. The research is very much in the vein of the game as it comes in the guise of studying the movement of the sun moon and stars. It is not quite as detailed gameplay wise as Dawn of Man and yet I find it more compelling and fun to play. I did encounter one bug and the developer was incredibly helpful in fixing that bug. All in all I HIGHLY recommend this game !!
