I'm a tower defence lover, so I did like it interesting and somewhat enjoying to play and complete the campaign. Also, there were some new ideas used. However, Ezaron Defense is below average in TD games for the following reasons: 1. You can build structures in your town, which is kind of second level above actual TD maps. However, it's very boring. You don't get really anything from buildings. Well, you get those green crystals or gems, but adding a very superficial town building is just an eye candy that doesn't even taste good. I wish there was option just to convert building materials to green crystals with useless town building sugar, but that would reveal how shallow the game actually is. 2. I like to design my TD maps before each wave and during the waves mostly sit back and watch. However, in this game you need to be active all the time. You can't just watch and enjoy. You need to actively use powers, all the time in later levels, so that it becomes a hasty mouse clicking...
