The control scheme is exactly as wacky as it looks and I love it. At the beginning it's funny to figure out how to even to begin to control Wavey, and then when it starts to click the maneuvers start to get really satisfying. Also, I was surprised to see this game isn't just a one-note control gimmick but has carefully designed stages with perfect pacing to teach beginners the ropes, and at the same time clearly intended for expert players to return to for score attacks. And it has chill 90s beats that give it a calming quality despite how difficult it is.

Fantastic game mechanic with very tight controls. Great art and music too. EDIT: OK THIS GAME IS COOL. Currently halfway though the game and the levels keep getting crazy creative. At first one would think "Sure its a cool gimmick, but I'm sure you can only push this game mechanic so far" but that is NOT the case. Its a trip for sure.

A really addictive, compelling game with a satisfying gameplay loop. It reminds me of some of my favourite platformers I played back in the 90s in terms of aesthetic, but the control scheme is something new I'd never come across before. Initially, it's like trying to fly a plane with your feet, but once you get the hang of it it's a really enjoyable experience. At its best it reminds me of Sonic the hedgehog, with the player zooming through the levels at a fast pace, in a flow state. The amount of content in the game is also really impressive. After 4 hours I'm only 1/4 the way through completing the levels and haven't touched any minigames or similar. If you're a fan of "just one more try" games of skill and reflexes like Celeste or Hyper Light Drifter you'll get into the zone with this one too. Definitely give it a go! Also the music is great. Props to the music guy, whoever you are.

The game brings cool graphics and a hard to get used gameplay, not in the bad way. The game is fun, catching and really challenging! I recommend everyone to give it a try!

A truly one of a kind movement mechanic that I've never seen anywhere else before, this game deserves so much more attention and love.

Was excited to try this out when I first encountered it. Moving along a sine wave was a really fascinating concept to me for a sidescroller. It works well, it takes getting used to and is rather difficult but it's balanced well in that you don't have to get all the collectables in a level to progress in the game. So there's a nice adjustment in each level to account for different levels of players. What was interesting to me was how the sine wave acts as a visual for the player's future actions. It's interesting to me because I was looking more at the wave than the actual character so it asks interesting questions about who we are in the game. What a unique game! Quite difficult! Awesome music! The controls are so wacky and so unlike anything I've ever played before, but game is paced pretty well to ease you in. It'll be a little bit of a struggle at first but then it becomes really satisfying navigating through the levels! The first section in Level 59 though -_- If you want a challenge, you'll definitely get one with this game!

If you've played much Tetris. There is a point where your skill level and muscle memory put you 'in the zone' and the fast pace makes for some exciting wins. This game has a great likeness to what I describe above. Once you get the controls down this game is a blast. Also I really like the music so far. Definately a great party game, levels are short and challenging.
