It's really a tossup of whether this is worth buying at this present moment. yes, it's a tabletop emulator in which you have immense freedom, yes it's a fun game, even with the limited option you have right now as it's only come out less than a week ago. and yes, even though it has so many bugs my old house seemed like paradise in comparison, it's still playable. what really makes me on the fence about whether this game is worth buying, is that the game needs to crash, for you to submit a bug. I've found several bugs myself already, and while they don't exactly break the game, it makes it severely difficult to play the game, so before I close this, lets list the pros and cons. Pros: -the game is rarely something done, of something that should honestly have more market presence. -D20 tabletop rpg videogame. -you decide which enemies you face, so you have nobody to fault when you wipe except yourself. (unlike some games) -it's early access, meaning the features you currently see...

This table-top fantasy game simulator is pretty serious. Play as human, forget to take a torch or lantern with you, you won't see a thing. Nothing. Pure blackness everywhere. Ok, let's hire a dwarf into our party... he can see now, but the other party members will still have trouble. Ok, hire a cleric or wizard or sorcerer with LIGHT spell. Great...but the spell will wear off in few turns and back to darkness. Cleave also works only when enemies are lined up next to each other. Skills, Feats and abilities must be combined with extreme effort and focus on detail. Compared to common PC games, this is table-top simulator, hence I had to cope with the differences first: even when outside of combat, one has to move each character individually. Luckily, the dungeons (pre-made or generated) are not huge, so what you actually get is the option of setting up your party before anticipated assault carefully, maximizing efficiency and minimizing loses. I was also surprise that huge enemies can ...

While the game is not complete and has plenty of room to grow, it is playable and the development team is great to work with and responsive. I would recommend this game for anyone who likes dungeon crawlers and wants to be part of a game that has real potential. It is at a basic level right now but I believe it worth the money due to the direction it is headed. It is easy to get in and out of quickly and if you want to an have a personal impact on the future of a game this is the one.

The game has merit. It reminds me of Fantasy Grounds or Foundry VTT but single player. Still learning the game. Hoping to get some more entertainment from it. Reshade works by the way. Worth a buy and the price is OK too. Edit, now I have had a chance to level to level 3 ,I can add that the choices for level advancement ,including changing class and feats are really cool.

Developer has something here for hardcore grognards. I had originally thought the dev left but got an update today. Lemme explain who this game might appeal to. Looking for a deep story and plot, give this a pass for now. But those of us who played D&D and always loved the fighting mechanics and wished for a little more realism then this is likely to appeal. It is really just a random scenario simulator at this time but it may become something more.
