First off this game needs to be tested Second this concept needs some kind of purpose Third this idea needs a better reason to even be played.

About This Game
It significantly ups the ante by offering far crazier challenges. You probably thought that you’ve seen it all, that no drill can catch you by surprise, yet you’ll still put that hard earned experience to use once more.
Transporting contraband (the good ol’ booze and cigs) across difficult terrain, has never looked or felt more captivating. Forget about rusty pickup trucks and jeeps. What better way to deter the border patrol than transporting your high-risk wares with a freaking tank?
As expected from such a monumental task, the reward is only for those daring enough to brave the uncharted dirt roads. You don’t want to end up stranded in such places as the night sets in, so you’ll have to adapt and overcome any obstacles along the way. No room for errors or cowards.
As with the predecessor, roads alone shall not be your only foe as consuming some of the goods you’re supposed to transport, shall deprive you of a clear sight and mindset. If you thought that driving a car while inebriated is tough and dangerous, wait until you try our armored vehicles! Mayhem may ensue, but we’re certain you can come to senses and never steer off-course.
What are you waiting for, driver? Rev that engine, strap on your helmet, empty a few bottles and truly put your skills to the test in a sequel to a parody which definitely doesn’t encourage such behavior in real life. Limit your reckless driving solely to video games and that hangover will disappear faster than flipping the wheels (or tank tracks) in this tongue-in-cheek simulation!
Key features:
- Three types of transport vehicles ranging from tanks to custom off-road trucks.
- Three camera modes.
- The high probability of experiencing drunk vision.
- Challenging driving highlighted by obstacles and time limits.

To enjoy "Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition" you indeed need a big helping of an alcoholic beverage of your choice. For us sober people however this game is just what it is: trash. Ah, 2019! We didn't have Covid, Putin was still the "nice dictator" and Atomik Fabrik still released games that weren't asset flips. "Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition" is from that time and ... well, it's not really much better than their asset flips, just less ethically questionable. Without much fanfare you get tossed into a world with the simple task of "here's 10 minutes and a monster truck (?), find that thing!". What thing? Where? And why are the physics so damn wonky? No idea. All the while a short, annoying music clip is looping in the background. So you drive your vehicle around the scene, curse about the bad handling which either sends you careening off the road at the slightest turn or lets you get stuck on invisible obstacles (I love how there seems to be an invisible wall IN THE DAMN LAKE). ...
As a speed runner of this games predecessor I thought this would be much of the same, and a worthy addition to our small community of trash game speed runners. Man I was so wrong. The first game is so bad that it's good. Slippery controls. Terrible camera. Every thing on each level was a soft lock waiting to happen. This time round it seems the Devs have fixed up a lot of the bugs and things that would soft lock you from the first game, leaving just the "racing" aspect. But the game is so slow, and levels so long that you'll quit from boredom before frustration. The "drunk" effects from the first game are either removed, or just didn't load. I couldn't tell as...well, they didn't load. If you want a "good" bad game, buy the first in the NFS series. For your mates at least, and watch them try and actually finish it. Only buy this game if you want to test how the Steam refund system works.
why was this $57?? i think that is a scam. also the music was very loud. this offended me, i am sensitive. so loud aguhhhh my ears! thats what i was thinking. my ears!!! agh! so loud! also though, what i did appreciate was that every time i crashed (which was often) the game let me flip back over. real life trucks do not do that! but thats okay because this is a video game.
A simple off-road simulator. There are several cars, good physics, normal graphics. Playing it is worth your money spent.
In a nutshell, the game can be described as: Miracles on bends!
Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition Positives: + Ok concept + Some cool vehicles + Some parts of the tracks look ok + Tracks with different landscapes + Drunkvision is more tolerable this time + Ok steering and handling + Savegame function Negatives: - A lot of bugs and glitches (making it harder to finish the tracks) - Hard shadows makes it difficult to see - Still there is more improvement to be done in drunkvision - A lot of badly designed landscapes - Narrow paths - Some tracks are too long - The timer is not balanced enough - Music get a bit repetitive - So so and glitchy graphics - Variable framerate - Short length (its all over in under an hour) If you have played the first Need For Spirit game, you should know that this one is better. Its still not good, but this time its playable. Total Score: 5/10
An ironic off-road simulator, where we are allowed to try out the control of only three cars, if I may say so, 2 of them are just converted monster trucks of ordinary cars and a tank. I don’t understand why it was necessary to display the tachometer and speedometer, because you don’t look at them at all, the cards are average, they don’t stand out in any way. The game is only for the piggy bank of games, only for this price.
DISGUSTING
Need for Spirit: Off-Road Edition is an unusual racing game in which you have to cut through the wastelands and other locations. Of the pluses, I would like to note a wide variety of cars for racing and well-developed physics. Of the minuses, the only thing is that the game does not have sound, or I did not figure out how to turn them on. In general, a game for a couple in the evening.
