Before I say anything else I want to make it clear, I wanted to test the new controls out before leaving a review for it, that's why I made a different review for the old patch. Before the WASD update review: I liked the game with its unique movement system in the genre, the game had it's own charm in that it wasn't just mindless combat or just heres some randoms figure out who the non innocent are then vote them out. Crew could actually fight back against aliens and while there was moments where the crew or my partner were counting on me to 1v2 or 1v4 I managed to overcome it and feel good in my accomplishment. Overall it was 9/10 for me, fun, interactive and unique in the genre. 100% would recommend to pick the game up. WASD update preview: New Map? Cool, oh... It's alot bigger now? I wonder if traps or spider will be as useful anymore. New movement system? Sad to see the old one go, but I'll try it out for a bit. More players in a game? Eh, I'm not this will go over too well. ...

About This Game

Enemy On Board is an online multiplayer (6vs2) social deduction game where 2 random players are the Alien imposters and the other 6 players are Crew members. The Crew’s goal is to figure out which 2 among them are Aliens, hunt them down, and kill them - all while repairing the spaceship’s generators to keep communication lines open in an effort to escape space isolation. Aliens sow discord, and wreak havoc in order to destroy the Crew members by whatever means necessary. Last team standing wins.

- Choose from one of many Crew members, each with their own unique character abilities and perks
- Establish who the 2 Alien impostors are and kill them with your trusted teammates
- Keep communication lines open, get weapon ammo, and progress through the round by fixing broken generators aboard the Andromeda
- Scavenge weapons from the Armory and hunt suspected Aliens
- Survive for long enough and turn into a powerful Cyborg to face the Aliens head on

- Choose your powerful Alien and execute your deadly strategy to destroy the Crew
- Sow distrust, deceive Crew members, and stay hidden in plain sight
- Strategize with your alien partner in Alien voice-chat
- Gather Evolution Points using your alien ability
- Harvest enough Evolution Points and transform into your powerful Alien form to decimate the Crew. Each alien has a unique attack, the skill of their species
TRUST NO ONE
Enemy On Board is a game of teamwork and trust for the ultimate goal: survival. Aliens and Crew both use built-in voice-chat to communicate, and Aliens even have their own second channel to strategize. Just a piece of advice for you...Aboard the Andromeda, it's best to trust no one.REAL-TIME ACTION COMBAT
Space is a messy place - even more so when there are 2 aliens among you, that just killed your friends. Tensions can often rise and you just have to whack someone with a hammer. Instead of voting out the Alien impostors - kill them. Don't just trick people - orchestrate a friendly Saturday-afternoon mauling for them.DEEP PROGRESSION SYSTEMS
Level up your character and progress through the perk-tree to gain that extra edge on your opponents as you compete to be the best. Character abilities and perks all have 3 impact levels. Ascend your character to level up your character ability and roll for upgraded perks.AN ONGOING JOURNEY
Enemy On Board is in Alpha via Steam Early Access. We could have kept the game closed or put the alpha behind a paywall and gone F2P later, but we'd rather just get your feedback and build this game WITH you. Updates are released regularly and we plan to operate Enemy on Board for years to come. Our official Discord is the best place to meet friends and share critical feedback with the development team. We sincerely hope to meet you there.Screenshots
User Reviews
This is my new favourite game. Currently I have over 500+ hours on this game so I can give my review with some experience. PROS: 1. Game is short, can finish a game between 2-10 minutes. 2. There is a lot of social deception in this game. Similar to other games like Avalon, Secret Hitler, Among Us, Project Winter, you will need to work together to win as crew. 3. This is an Early Access game, and the developers are adding new content all the time. 4. There is a high skill cap in both reading people and combat in the game. 5. Each game can very different, depending on aliens, where items spawn, and what new strategies people are trying. CONS: 1. It is difficult for new players to get use to the system and might get punished in their first couple of games (like a lot of other games) 2. Some trolls might ruin the experience for others as it is a free to play game. (but you can always mute) 3. Small player base. 4. Graphics aren't like COD warzone, basic graphics. Overall ...
Do not install, do not buy. They've removed all online functionality. They've conned its playerbase out of their money, plain and simple.
I would recommend this game simply because of the gameplay that forces you to play with teammates, and with deceit. The rankings are jacked up, reports are jacked up and is mainly overshadowed by Among Us. if you want Among Us that has more immersion and built-in voice chat, this game is for you.
Very good game. Honestly, It's still one of my favorite deception games I've played (I haven't played many deception games, but still). I've put a good amount of hours into this game, and sometimes play to this day (friends :P). I played in the very beginning, and have loved it. The problem with this game was not the toxic community; but it might've fanned the flames. I think the problem with this game was the Devs. The Devs reacted poorly in correlation to problems faced, regarding both the game and the community. So what was wrong with the game? Well, put gently, the Devs ruined it. Removing match-making destroyed the game on an unimaginable level. If you hadn't found a group of friends by then, you never were able to play the game. The discord wasn't useful. This caused the player base to collapse. Another reason this game fell was because it was poorly updated. I do understand that for such a tiny team of developers, it would take a while to get huge things done. However,...
This game is fun, but the playerbase is way to small and the devs gave up on the game :(
Enemy on Board was a good game until they tried to copy among us as messed up, now its not the same, now it feels like a clone a downgrade to what once was a unique and fun to play games. How to ruin a game 101.
Dead ass game
Discord groups have ruined this game. People are grouping up and boosting their friends and forcing people to lose by griefing. Also, while you can rank up you have no way to track progress. Wish we could find a way to eliminate people boosting and throwing games VIA discord but I guess there's nothing that can be done unless player mods are made to remove these kinds of players. Regret paying for the founders pack - don't give these devs money until they can fix the game - stick to the f2p.
It is a fun game to watch nad play with friends but there isn't any pulic lobbies. The game is dead because they changed hte matchmaking system.
