The Zero series is perfect, 10000/10, cinema. If you like 2D platform games you have to buy it. I can ensure you that these games are 10 times better than the X series, like serious, the best platform games I ever played. The story is great, the bosses are fantastic, the level design is challenging and the controls are the best, everything works as it should. The only problem you can face here is that Zero 2 can be quite challenging and long compared to the others, but you can beat it once you get familiar with the bosses (or using cyber elfs). Edit: but common Capcom, don't remove Inti Creates logo on every game, that's not fair, they deserve at least the credits for this masterpiece.

the entire Zero and ZX series in this collection play nearly pixel-perfect to the SNES' Megaman X games before this series. it is easily the MOST CHALLENGING game in the Megaman franchise, so hardcore fans should be pleased with this one... plus, all 6 games include an S-ranking system and Hard difficulty mode (unlockable thru cheatcodes from the start) for the sweatiest of players. compared to even other 2D sidescrolling shooting/slashing games, its precision of gameplay/handling (i'm talking framerates, hitbox/hurtboxes and technical mechanics here) is all PEAK AF for its genre. a must-own for all diehard, tryhard fans of the genre!

Although not really optimized for PC gaming, it is still Megaman. Ps.: I was a little upset because CAPCOM still forces us to watch their crappy intros. Its Megaman. We didn't need intros back then, we don't need it now.

I really love it. Megaman Zero 4 was my first and only one for over 10 years until I saw the collection and realized two more games exits after Zero 4 and I got to experience Zero 1-3 too. I Played ZX and ZX Advent for the first time back in March 2025 and loved it even more than the others. Humans becoming Megaman with animations yelling Mega Merge is better than playing as Robots. I'm in love with ZX Advent the most.

My personal favorite Mega Man games. I would not recommend getting into battle network, the X series are a mix bag, the mainline mega mans are good run 'n' gun classics, but the zero/zx ones? Those I like the most.
