About This Game

Death is the inevitable and logical conclusion of life. All people, one way or another, understand this, but until the end they dare to accept only a few.

Live a long life in a short amount of time.

Stary - the story of the traveler. Waking up in the hospital after a serious operation, go on a long journey through the empty places from the memory of the main character. You have to control the character, whose path runs through an abandoned prison, part of the hospital, the forest and even secret underground facilities. Who am I and where am I going to be lucky enough to find out only at the end! Any turn can turn into an interesting adventure, but it can also be an unpleasant surprise.

Where will I go?

Hospital, labyrinth, prison, castle, dungeon and many other places to visit.

What is waiting for?

Pitfalls and chasms, notes and scrolls, dead and secret rooms.

This one is bad. Horrible graphics, almost no sound, you are only walking through some giant dark corridors while nothing happens. Also the game has a save feature which does not work and there is an optional parkour part in the game (which you need for completing the game to 100%) which is just aweful, because jumping is really bad and if you fail one jump you can replay the game from the beginning cause the save feature does not work.

This game is kind of difficult to write a review for. On the one hand, it's got decent atmosphere and I did actually like it but on the other hand it's unbelievably short and there isn't a ton to do in the game. I think I'm going to recommend it (especially if it's on sale) but just be warned - it is very, very short. I did a speedrun of the game in under 4 minutes. And that was only my 2nd playthrough of the game. I did have the feeling when I was playing this game that I had seen it somewhere before. Like, I feel as though I saw a famous Youtuber play a game like this a while back but I cannot remember who it was and I'm not sure how they played it unless it released on Itch or something before coming to Steam. There were several parts of the game that just seemed SO familiar to me as though I had seen them before. It may just be my imagination though. I think if you like horror-ish games and walking sims you'll probably enjoy this but if you don't then I'd probably steer clear o...

Stary - not a bad adventure. It was interesting to explore the locations. Initially, it was difficult to understand what each place means. +

Interesting locations, in particular the obstacles to the secret room.
Not small game locations. Initially, they seemed smaller. Only later did I find out that most doors open, but this requires special activators.
During the game there is no accompanying music. And it seemed as if some kind of screamer was about to appear.
OJ found only one bug when stuck on the couch.
At first it was a bit boring, to the maze, in which I got confused and died three times.
-

Preservation. They are not needed, because of them it is easier to pass the obstacles.
The character gets up too long. In the game, these 30 seconds seem very long.
I hope the update will be more obstacles, but easier. I could not reach the secret room in an hour and a half of the game, I only approached halfway. And to diversi...

Well, before I begin so you don't have to read the entire review... If you turned Wizard of Oz into a game and made it "scary", this is exactly what you would get. A low budget game. *Contains spoiler(s)/hint(s) below: Lets start off first by saying about 10 minutes into the game I read a note and the note bugged and wouldn't get off my screen. Either a control was not bounded to exit the menu/note or it just was a bug. I didn't want to reload and retry to find it is unbound and have to restart for the third time. Overall, it's a cheap, low budget scary game and that's exactly my type out of all the genre of games in my opinion. They are funny with a little spooky twist. I will admit, I did jump once for a scare - so you did get me on that one you little cheeky developer. Next, I would like to state that I died at least once in the game, and that was falling through a pit. This was repetitive made as I also found a few other locations that had pits- which I obviously didn't fall into ...

This could be a decent game if it weren't for a few inexcusable, game breaking issues. First, the flashlight shuts off every few seconds for no reason and plunges you into darkness. So you have to turn the flashlight back on every few seconds (literally) throughout the entire game. Secondly, while the save feature works, it forces you to sit through the opening scene every single time you load, AND you lose your flashlight when it loads. So the save function is useless since you absolutely cannot see or make progress without the flashlight, which means you have to restart the entire game from the beginning each time you die so you can get the flashlight.
