About This Game

Lossless Scaling is a powerful tool that enhances your gaming experience by making games smoother with LSFG frame generation and optionally improving quality or performance with various scaling algorithms and machine learning models like LS1. It's compatible with most games, even those that don't have built-in frame generation or scaling, as well as with other applications and a wide range of hardware.

LSFG 3 Frame Generation

This feature creates additional frames to make games look smoother. It’s perfect for games that lack a built-in solution or require new hardware, as well as for older games and emulators with a locked frame rate.

 • LSFG is a proprietary machine learning model developed from scratch specifically for Lossless Scaling and has received several significant updates.

 • It’s compatible with a wide range of hardware and has a separate performance model for low-power GPUs.

 • The Fixed mode allows you to multiply the original frame rate, while the Adaptive mode lets you specify a desired frame rate that may not be a multiple of the original.

Scaling

Scaling allows you to improve performance by lowering the original resolution and applying upscaling to recover some of the quality. It's also great for older games and pixel art games that don’t support modern resolutions or fullscreen mode.

 • LS1, FSR, NIS are well-suited for modern games.

 • Integer, XBR are ideal for pixel art games.

 • Anime4K is great for cartoons or anime.

Dual GPU Support

A great feature of Lossless Scaling is the ability to offload computations to a second GPU. This means applying frame generation or scaling won't affect the game's original frame rate and may reduce latency.

Compatibility with Online Games

The community has found Lossless Scaling to be safe to use with online games that have built-in anti-cheat systems. However, this cannot be guaranteed and should be used with user discretion.

Customization

Lossless Scaling provides extensive configuration options through Game Profiles, allowing you to save per-game or grouped settings. Profiles eliminate the need for repetitive manual adjustments by automatically applying your chosen settings and scaling whenever the game executable is detected, ensuring consistent and automated operation.

Requirements

 • Only windowed and borderless fullscreen modes are supported. Exclusive fullscreen mode may work only if the Lossless Scaling output is configured for a second display.

 • Free GPU resources are preferred, otherwise Lossless Scaling will affect the game's original frame rate.

 • Windows 10, version 2004 or newer.

Linux

The LSFG feature of Lossless Scaling is available on Linux as a community-driven port. For more details, check out the lsfg-vk project.
Pretty good software, works as intended.
Saw this on a YT video from Linus Tech Tips, and had to download it and pay $7 to download more FPS lol. Was expecting it to be a joke. It does work as intended and as advertised. Tried it on a plethora of game titles I play, both on steam and elsewhere, works surprisingly well for what I throw this software at. If your on the fence and are wanting more FPS or improved performance on specific games, I recommend giving it a try.

Makes any 30 fps content run in buttery 60 fps using your dedicated GPU. Not just games but movies & any online videos as well complete with sharpening, flow motion, & vsync. Most important title on steam.

Literally have never gotten it to work well with any game! It usually introduces severe stuttering where the games ran just fine without it. It's a neat idea to have a universal method of enabling frame gen, but I can't even comment on how well it looks, or if the artifacts introduced by this frame gen are acceptable, because of my aforementioned issue. Maybe it just doesn't work great with vrr, but at that point, what's the point in this?

This app is literally magick. It takes the games you can't play... and makes it so you CAN play them. I have a 3060 10gb gpu... and it does what it can, which for me is the best I've ever had, but who doesn't want MOAR!? This puppy here gives you the moar you've been looking for. If you ramp it up too high, it gets weird, but long as you're reasonable, it'll double your frames and make those games you always had to play on medium settings now play on high. For less than ten bucks it's retarded not to have this app.

Now I can watch movies, cartoons, and anime, and play most games at 120 fps on a 120 Hz monitor with this program! An absolute masterpiece. Even old games that have a 60 fps cap can now be played extra smoothly without breaking game physics. Literally bought FPS! And remember 30 fps cutscenes in games? With this program you can forget about that. All cutscenes become watchable at 60+ fps when you use it. Frame generation can also make clunky animations in games much smoother because it works like interpolation for animations. But keep in mind that frame generation can’t make your low fps really high without many artifacts and huge input lag. However, it can make your smooth 60+ fps gameplay extra smooth (especially if you play on a 120 Hz+ monitor) with very few drawbacks. Watching films on the web with frame generation is incredible too! Now I can’t watch movies at 24 fps anymore — it feels like a slideshow. Watching movies extra smooth has only one downside for me: GPU powe...

Very nice to scale those old games that only support 800x600 maximum resolution. I tried it on a few VNs and the quality is fine, doesn't hurt my eyes anymore and with frame generation you can modify a bit how those weird transition animation looks, some of them were unbearable on bug monitors. Aside from that I don't really know how they fare on very frame dependent games (fps, fighting games) but I feel it won't be optimal for gameplay but you do you.

very good, unusable for most games like minecraft, fortnite, roblox, cs2, and more, but story games that you are fine with input lag for, are the best. or racing games

This tool is amazing — made a huge difference in games that don’t scale well or lack fullscreen support. I’ve used it with AC Unity, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a bunch of pixel games. Super smooth, easy to set up, and the frame generation helps in lower FPS spots too. Only game that didn’t play nice with it (for me) was Wuthering Waves — scaling launches, but FPS overlay doesn’t show or doesn’t apply. Could be the game’s anti-overlay or engine thing, not the tool’s fault.

It's worth it. This is easily the best frame generation I've seen yet. It's not perfectly "lossless", but it succeeds in making games look smooth without looking blurry and smudgy like your eyeballs need cleaning, and that's great!

It really does work!!! Multi-frame gen on any gpu. Games where I'm barely pulling 60 fps, LS pushes it up to smooth 140. It also helps so much with 1% lows, stabilising the framerate. SO much worth
