The Last Campfire

I came across The Last Campfire by random chance and found it to be an absolute gem with a lot of love and compassion poured into it. The art style is lovely, bubbly and cosy. The puzzles are fun and clever. I like that you can play at your own pace and explore in the rather melancholic yet relaxed atmosphere. It is wonderfully narrated by Rachel August, who has a very soothing voice. This beautiful, bittersweet masterpiece is something that took me positively by surprise. The game is rather short but worth every moment. I highly recommend.

A charming little puzzle adventure that feels calming and relaxing. The puzzles aren’t too difficult, but they’re clever and enjoyable, and the narration is wonderfully done.

Honestly just purchased it to support No Man sky devs. It is a cutsie game with puzzles and stuff.

A gorgeous short puzzle game where you play as a lost ember who helps others on your journey home. The graphics are beautiful as you explore through the world, periodically helping other lost embers you find on your journey by solving puzzles. The puzzles are a good level of challenge, not too hard or too easy, and helped to tell the story of each of the lost embers you found. I absolutely adored the time I spent playing this game and would recommend it to anyone who thinks they would enjoy a short, cozy puzzle game with emotional depth.

I got this game while it was on sale, and it was definitely worth it! It's very peaceful (I actually really like how little music there is--it's mostly just environment noise), and the art style is super cute. The puzzles weren't particularly challenging, but there were a few that caught me by surprise! That said, I did have some problems with the controls a few times (they're a bit buggy, but it's nothing game-breaking). And while I thought that the narration suited the game, it was a little excessive at times (I don't necessarily need the narrator saying a gate is locked when the character fails to open the gate and then fumbles with the lock). Overall, I don't think I'd pay full price for this game, but I highly recommend grabbing it when it's on sale!

Wholesome af, cozy puzzles, vibes immaculate 🌱🔥. Heard it even made an old man cry… but not me tho. Short but hits right in the feels.
