I've played about 90 minutes so far, and it's fun for what it is. It's not a full RPG like 9th Dawn, so if you go in to it expecting that, you will be disappointed. It's more of an exploration-based, twin-stick shooter dungeon crawler. I assume it works with the mouse also but I've only used a controller. There doesn't appear to be any text anywhere in the game. No one speaks to you and there are no text descriptions of items; just icons and numbers. This was a little confusing at first and I'm still not sure I understand all of them. There seems to be quite a lot of dungeons, caves and other areas to explore. The world map is quite large. I do wish there was a little more direction on what I'm supposed to be doing. There is a flashing icon on the map, which I assume to be the main goal. I'm just wandering around, exploring things and getting levels and upgrades. I'm finding several locked gates that I can't yet figure out how to unlock. I have no idea how long it will take to finis...

A great little game that doesn’t outstay its welcome. Lots of things to explore and discover, heaps of monsters to smash through. Special powers feel pretty nice when they go off amidst bunch of mobs. Reasonable achievements, that won’t make you grind for hours if you want to complete everything game has to offer. The game doesn’t hold your hand when it comes to finding your way to your next objective. There were times when I had to completed the same dungeons multiple times to be sure I didn’t miss and alternative path.
I played and completed 9th dawn II. I was expecting this game to be similar or better. Its worse. Trying refund now.
Basic, fun, and well priced.
+1 RPG
Basic rpg to play for a few hours. Doesn't really have quests or orientation, achievements work as a good checklist for those.
Its a fun game and worth your time.
