Both simple and clever, Alveole took me a bit to figure out what do to and how to read the clues, but was a nice way to spend a Sunday morning with cup of coffee and it's nice piano melody.
Aloe Vera
Before I begin this review I didnt thoroughly read the description which I never do, I like to go in fresh and see where it takes me So I might be a bit biased expecting more then this game could offer me I didnt play it for a long time as you can see its also a pretty short game. I didnt enjoy it too much though I've never seen a game with the minimalistic tag which is more true to its tag then this game. Your character stands in a wheel and runs. And the only mechanic you have is jumping. some spikes appear and you jump over them. Till you reach an ending. Fail and you reach another ending. Thats the whole game. I thought before I judged it too quickly too hard, let me check the achievements guide. If there is any story or special things. To see if there is more to the game then it seemed at that moment. And im gonna spoiler here all the endings/achievements so beware Almost every ending is as followed. Hit all the spikes. Jump over the first one and hit the ...

Would scarcely be worth playing if free let along 30 - 99 cents. Hope you like very simple visual puzzles with a one button control scheme that is so achievement based that the game actually makes itself unplayable when you 100% it (yes I 100% it in about 20 minutes).

Kinda neat, not really revolutionary, but clever in a sense. 5/10

An "alvéole" is a tiny hollow or depression -- the cell in a honeycomb, or small cavity in a rock, or in the jaw for a tooth. The game Alveole presents an exercise wheel as a small space the player is dropped into -- like the wheel for my hamster, but here for a person. Alveole is a short game worth puzzling through and trying to discover what it is and what it wants. If you enjoy figuring out goals that aren't explained then stop reading here and give it a play. If you don't mind mild spoilers about how it works, read on: Alveole is a (mostly!) one-button interface to a very simple "endless runner" style game, but one which always ends after jumping or stumbling through several obstacles on that hamster wheel. (It is tagged "walking simulator," in what seems to be a joke.) 16 spaces on either side of the wheel indicate available endings / outcomes / achievements, and reactive images hanging above the space give feedback or change as the avatar jumps or stumbles, giving hints about...
