From humble beginnings, in Inclement you set up to build a farm in the harsh wildlands of the north
This is a light strategy/production management game. You begin with a small plot of land, initially only producing grain and selling it in the town. You can construct buildings that allow storing more grain, hiring more workers or otherwise increase profits. Eventually, you can buy more land and expand to cattle and oil business.
From micromanaging to the grander schemes
Initially, there's some micromanagement: while the grain, wood and stones (and later oil) are always automatically gathered, you at first have to go to town and sell your meagre grain stocks yourself. Later, contracts allow selling more grain (and oil) at once every few months (essentially required for larger quantities), and late-game merchant fleets allow you to ship them yourself, at a better profit. There's some waiting, as the months and years fly past and you wait for the funds for the...

Loving the style and the general feeling of the game. Took me 2 hours to master it and another 6 to complete. Definetely enjoyed my time with it
Very good game.I like the 2D style. Hopefully this game gets some rekognition. I can TOTALY recomend this game for poeples who like 2D style games.
The game could be a little more complex and the employe wages could be a little lower but over all its a great game
While the start is a bit rocky due to clunky UI/controls, and a poor explanation of mechanics, once you settle into the rhythm of the game it's fun. The core of the game is familiar managing and expanding your land to balance costs and profit. It has a few additional mechanics to manage (local party politics, stock market, possibly a productivity system?) that hold your attention, but never feel overwhelming. The main thing the game could use is more info available, sometimes I would be losing a lot of money or producing very little grain and I couldn't really figure out why. Being able to track what's causing you problems and what you could change to improve it would make the gameplay a lot smoother I think. Overall it's a fun little experience, progression is pretty quick and it's nice to look at, minus the weather effects (which can be turned off). Worth the price for at least a bit of fun!
How did I not review this game? Basically... for me... its a low tech city builder. Well, city is the wrong word. You have limited space, limited income, so you better plan accordingly. While the game isn't severely complex it does take serious though into making the best decisions you can. The game is worth the price and is best enjoyed with the tv or youtube going on in the background. I chose seinfeld.
I like this game,I like the idea,I like the art(most of it),but the snow/rain are too much, you can't see anything when it's winter or raining, also, the font isn't that great, but it's readable, and another thing that isn't that good,is the shortage of wood, maybe it's just for me,I always have stone, but never wood, and if I want to buy it,just 10 pieces,ITS 1000$,it's way to much,at least at the start of the game. These were my complaints, but the rest of the game is cool,I really like it,and hope the developer could fix,or make a setting where you can disable the snow/rain and change the font. EDIT:Forgot to say,THE MUSIC IS FRICKING SLAPPING,IT'S SO GOOD!
This is a pleasant little strategy game which, though lacking in complexity, requires more forethought than many other strategy games if you really want to master it. Balancing the acquisition of resources and money in order to build an expand in a way always geared towards increasing the bottom line is neat to figure out and extremely satisfying to see succeed. While the game completely lacks any events you have to respond to cropping up over the century of play (instability, wars, regime changes, INCLEMENT WEATER...), which I would say it ultimately needs to be a really great game, the stablitity of play makes the whole thing a more calming experience. All in all, it's well worth the price. It should be good for three playthroughs: 1 failure, then success, then mastery. It's a rewarding experience.
Great Estate Manager Game !
