About This Game

Spirit Oath is a unique Action-RTS with god-like elements which will take your concentration skills to the limit.
Rebuild the world tile by tile and create patterns to summon units to your command, as masses of enemies attack your core.
Cast spells to assist your troops in battle, and don't stop until total annihilation of the enemy.
Save Elderwood in story mode or continue improving in randomly-generated skirmish levels.

In Spirit Oath you play a forest Guardian Spirit, returning to conscious and facing dark foes.
Use Rune Tiles to rebuild the land and create patterns to summon Spirit Warriors to help you save your siblings and cleanse the forest of the dark forces which struck roots in it.

Spirit Oath intertwines board games elements with RTS elements wrapped in a neat, clean art style, resulting in an engaging fast paced game with unique gameplay.

Cool innovative take on the RTS genre. Casual and light, a good way to pass some time. Awesome soundtrack.

This game is quite unlike any other game I played. It combines RTS and sort of a puzzle (the tile placement). The combination is quite challenging, because you need to both micro-manage your units and figure out what tiles to put next at the same time, and the level of difficulty is high enough that you need to do both quite well to succeed (after the first couple of introductory levels). The game currently features a campaign and skirmish mode. Pros: - Unique mechanics that provide a fresh new take on the genre. - Quite easy to learn but very hard to master. As you play, you learn new tactics you can use that are not apparent at first, both in units management an in tile placements. - All units remain viable even as you get to the stronger units (this is a lesson that I've learned the hard way), which results in a high variety. - The difficulty curve is steep enough to keep the challenges interesting, yet not too steep so you're never suddenly out of your depth. - The game feels ver...

ncredibly unique experience, the gameplay is a mashup of quick action RTS with tile base combat RPG - I never played anything quite like it. The campaign only takes around 10 hours, and it's a little too dependent on RNG. What captured me the most was the settle and suiting soundtrack! Beautifully done.

I want to like this game, I really do, it's got nice aesthetics and unusual themes for an RTS, but two fatal problems makes it impossible for me to play: 1: the game is broken as a product -- it softlocks consistently upon certain objective completions; many of its UI does not work or does not fit the screen display, controls cannot be rebound 2: there is no strategy -- it's a match-three/pattern recognition game where you try to remember which tile was placed where and come up with the complementary tile as soon as possible. Unit specialization and building placement is dwarved by the overwhelming need to just produce as many basic units as is possible. Micromanagement is barebones and unrewarding--no rally point, no control-click, no select whole-army. This is compounded by the often frustratingly low aggro-range of your units who often stand around while your structures are getting demolished. Overall, I'm sad that this game doesn't seem to be getting any more support, because I ...

The campaign is original and fun. The gameplay, mechanics, and sound are unique. I really felt being in "The zone" in some of the levels. A great feeling to get from a game in this price. Recommended!

Great fun RTS game. I really liked the twist that you need to build your units based on where you base your tiles. Looking forward to see how the game will progress and its future features.

Only around 30 reviews. That's a tragedy. This game, love or hate the gameplay, is beautifully written, voice acted, and artistically styled. And yes, I do love the gameplay. It's kicked my butt a couple times, but I still find the mix of strategy and chance intoxicating. This game is something new. Something bright and fabulously original! And more people need to play it! Now! It's so cheap! Buy it and play it see for yourself, return it, whatever. But this game deserves more attention.

As much as i would love to give this game a positive review, i cant. The game is way to difficult, especcially on the last few levels. I cannot access the guide at all, and i still dont know what the tree of evolutions is, and cannot do anything with it. IF this changes, I will change this review
