Seems to be just another Abandonware. No news or updates ever. This game should have never been released, in it's current state this is far from Early Access, it's pre-alpha at best. Wish I would have refunded when I had the chance, don't make the same mistake!

About This Game
Unfortunately for you, you're not a fighter. Many potions have powerful effects which can aid you in battle, whether it’s to make you smaller, faster, blow up areas and monsters or a potion to summon a cute ghost to just hang out.
Sell your extra potions and prepared foods to the merchant for a bit of coin. You can use this coin to purchase recipe books, and even expand the land around you. When you unlock new areas you’ll find new ingredients, crafting recipes, crops, animals, secrets and more.

There are plenty of things to do in your days in Potion Paws. You can Explore the world, look for materials, craft potions or foods, tend to your garden, or take your chance dungeon diving for treasures and rare ingredients!

Your adventure starts at the spooky old house you just bought, which is right by the entrance of an old mysterious dungeon. Heavy fog covers this lands but don’t worry! You can use your resources to clear the fog and uncover more land to explore and find more items to collect!
With each area you unlock there are new materials, secrets, and even creatures you can find and carry home. You will want to explore as much of the map as you can and unlock all it’s treasures.

This world is full of monster parts, plants and more that you can use to craft into unique goods to sell! You can cook delicious monster treats and craft powerful potions that have plenty of different effects!

With your alchemist skills at hand you can use your cauldron to create a wide variety of potions. Potions can be sold or used for its effects. You can use a potion by drinking it or throwing it to alter the world around you or defeat monsters.
For example, if you make a Cactus Potion and drink it, you’ll grow spikes and enemies that touch you will take damage. But if you throw the cactus potion at a group of enemies, spikes will grow out of the ground hurting them.

The potions can also be used to reach new areas. See a hole that’s too small to fit through? Maybe a Tiny Potion can help.

User Reviews
This game seems to have been abandoned. There have been no updates in a very long time. Others are correct, this never should have been released. It's far from what I would call "Early Access".
I just bought this, and I love it. Yes it feels like it's going to be grindy, but that's kind of the point of the game. It definitely feels like there is room for more content... which I know will be added, as the devs handle this superbly with Garden Paws as well. I look forward to that. If you love Garden Paws, or you're one of those people that love the endless little grindy gathering / cute / exploring games that some people turn their noses up at, this game is for you. This game is spooky themed, with little spider webs and a bubbling cauldron filled with green goo in your house (with moonbeams streaming in, no less) and the fun little vibe of a witchy potion book is just a blast. I LIVE for things like this. One of the NPC characters was even dressed as Van Helsing, which was fun to see. The game drops you in your little house with sparkling notes around, and as you explore and read the notes, the game starts to unfold. Start to explore and you'll find more things to interact...
Don't bother. The game has been abandoned by the devs. They only care about Garden Paws, which they ruined with the headache inducing sound design changes. They are super unorganized, their discord is useless and it's sad. It's sad because these games are fun (until you realize all the problems). It's not finished and will never leave EA.
was really cute at first... but doesn't seem to have been updated from its far from complete and very broken form. its a real shame because the other game from this creator is amazing
I really love Garden Paws, and I wanted to love this game, but there's just not much of it yet. The most frustrating part is that the game doesn't do a good job of telling you which parts are under construction and which parts are actually ready. For example, there's a map icon, but it doesn't actually do anything. I received seeds from an NPC, but farming doesn't work yet. A lot of the potions don't work yet, either. I've given up playing it because I keep trying to do things only to find out they don't work yet. Not worth $10 at this point.
I bought this game because I love Garden Paws. It had potential but sadly it seems the devs have given up on it so there isn't that much to it and I can't even restart it because I can't get it out of the steam cloud. I bought it in March and there has been no update since. I paid money for a game and ended up with a ghost cat in garden paws. Expensive pet LOL
abandoned
it's been abandoned. Real bummer. It had potential.
I loved Garden Paws... my daughter once told my wife, "It's not just a game. It's a very, special--game." And we had played the heck out of it together. I formed a bond with my daughter over that game. So, I wanted Potion Paws to meet that super idealistic expectation. So far it hasn't. But, I expect more to come. Maybe with updates.
