There need to be split screen or something for 2 players. In it's current state, the players "fight" for control over the camera which is very nausea inducing. I had to stop after less than an hour because I got too motion sick.

Refunded, not truly split screen Co-Op? Fighting for camera control is not conducive to making this game actually playable for two people. Advertises split screen mode but the only split functionality is having a "main" player and a secondary just here to watch. Super disappointing as this was a cute concept but wholly unplayable for two people who actually want to control their own camera and character...

The most realistic representation of a couple relationship I've ever seen in any kind of media, plus a really cool sci-fi universe. If you're into any of those two concepts, this is a must play.

Game play becomes very repetitive and towards the end combat is more annoying than anything. Still enjoyed the story and the characters.

I loved this game a lot. It's very rare to get an RPG that focuses on relationships that is done EXTREMELY well! The sound direction is killer and the art direction is fairly good too (although I personally am not a fan of how barren the islets felt at times). The option to play as a lesbian/gay couple was extremely welcome as well, which is why i chose to play as the male couple. I think little things could have been done better such as combat or cooking, but overall, this was a very pleasant experience! I'll be thinking of Yu and Kay for a very long time and can only hope we could get a sequel :)

My discovering this game is a very short, mildly funny story. I was browsing the points shop and saw a fun animated avatar of some guy fading in and out with ribbons. I thought it looked neat, so I made it my avatar. After seeing it on my profile and in-game playing CS2 for a while, I was curious to see from what game it actually came. That's how I learned about Haven and the Game Bakers. The premise of the game intrigued me, and so I took a chance and bought it. From there it did what Steam games do, sit in the backlog for a while. About a month after first downloading it, I started it up one day. The opening video and song was entrancing— the music, the visuals, everything, and I was locked-in for completing it.
Critiques

Most zones are very similar. There is a bit of flair, bits and bobs spattered in a few places, but there's not much personality within the playable areas. Given the story and what this world is in-lore, it's somewhat understandable. After play...

Following Furi, this game's announcement had me very excited. Though the gameplay mechanics lack, the experience is completely carried by the game's world building and characters that far succeeds expectations. It is entirely brought to life solely by the incredible voice acting. I have never experienced voice actors so talented that it genuinely made the main characters and world feel so realistic. On top of the phenomenal music, per usual, w/Danger creating the entire soundtrack solo. An experience that truly feels like escaping into a story that is both fantastical and deeply human. I find myself once again overwhelmed with eager and anticipation; to see what The Game Bakers will cook up next.

Haven is a unique and emotionally resonant indie RPG developed by The Game Bakers that merges relationship-driven storytelling with exploration, light combat, and a gorgeously stylized world. Set on the mysterious planet Source, the game tells the intimate story of Yu and Kay, two lovers who have escaped their rigid society in search of freedom. What unfolds is a deeply personal journey about connection, resilience, and building a life together in the face of isolation and adversity. Unlike many RPGs that focus on grand-scale conflict or epic quests, Haven narrows its lens to the microcosm of a relationship, making its emotional impact all the more powerful. At the heart of Haven is the dynamic between Yu and Kay. The narrative is built almost entirely around their bond, with dialogue that feels authentic, heartfelt, and, at times, delightfully mundane. You spend much of the game inside their small spaceship home, cooking meals, crafting items, and engaging in conversations that revea...
