In the current state I would not recommend. Feels very incomplete missing basic technology to make this game fun for more than an hour rn. Its extremely difficult when first starting but once you figure it out its a 30 minute title. Once the game progresses from what can only be described as a mobile game then I might think about playing it again. As well as this game has been abandoned rn with no information from the devs.

The game is very incomplete, you'll get a good 3-5 hours out of it, insanely easy to manage. There isn't any real challenge, the tech tree is limited and re-playability is next to none. Don't expect to see any real updates, game has been abandoned. I would wait until game is $5 on a sale.

The game has some potential. However, with the lack of any updates it seems pointless spending your money on a game without a future. Some parts are still not functioning and haven't for a while. Now, we all know things can take time, but with the lack of communication you get the feeling its been abandoned. Shame, had lots of potential, just not in its current state. Hard to say I would recommend it without any further updates. So I have to say don't waste your money unless you want a 3/4 finished game.

I was intrigued by Car Manufacture at first and I was hoping for something fresh. Unfortunately, the experience feels more like a stripped-down mobile game than a fully fleshed-out PC title. There’s very little content, and what is there gets boring fast. The game-play loop lacks depth, and there are no achievements or meaningful progression to keep things interesting. Yes there is a research tab and plenty of stuff to build but it all feels just meaningless. Basic features like camera zoom are oddly limited—you can’t even zoom in close enough to appreciate the cars you’re building, which feels like a missed opportunity. What’s worse is the apparent abandonment by the dev team. There haven’t been any content updates since February, small bug fixes but no word on content from what I've seen. Not even a road-map. It’s a shame, because this had potential. I ended up refunding it. If development picks back up and real improvements are made, I might take another look—but...
