I highly reccomend this game. This game has a very clean and fun look to it. The mechanic is simple, but hard to master. There is a relaxing drone sound in the background while you play through. There are 5 different ships to unlock, which all can happen fairly easily as you master how the game actually works. If you are designing your own games, this is a good one to look to in terms of simplicity in design. I liked this game a lot, and it will be one that I will be coming back to from time to time for inspiration, well worth the price.

A very simple minimalist space blaster where your ship automatically shoots for you and even turns right by itself. To control it, all you do it press your left mouse button to rotate it back counter clockwise. Your ship thrusts forward and fires automatically. All you do is use one button to try and stay alive as long as you can while collecting power-ups and avoiding death. This game is played and given my first impressions score in this 5 space blaster game competition video right here: (Review of this game starts at 29:12) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GyZgEjvxnE This game collected a strong 83% score from me and is recommended especially if you end to like minimalist action kinda games,
The game was improved immediately on my previous feedback and now I can progress past the fast seeking enemies (as they move and turn slower, so aren't pretty much an instant death). The game becomes a ridiculous screen-filling asteroid nightmare and it is tremendous fun to try to top your highscore. The addition of additional powerups as you gain more score is also excellent. An amazing one-button arcade game that I can heartily recommend.
This game is seemingly small and simple, but the details are more subtle. It's hard to get right away. Retro Wing doesn't beat you over the head with instructions, you kinda just have to figure it out, though it's not hard to do. This is definitely one to replay many times in order to master, which I greatly appreciate, though such games are not for everybody. The art and sound and mechanics are all understated and well designed. For as cheap as it is, it's more than worth it.
I couldn't really get into this, I gave it a fair shake for 1/2 hour but the 1 key turning thing was a real drag for me.
This is a great little game, well worth the small price tag for a few hours of space-shooting fun. It combines masterful use of minimalism with clever little twists on the standard Asteroids formula to create something enjoyable and unique. Each of the different weapons and the ships you unlock force you to adopt a slightly different play style to keep things interesting. Loving it!
A solid little shooter! I like the persistent upgrades, small but interesting.
